Pop-up Stuub Feldberg
"Apartment was great. Spacious and comfortable. Instructions were easy - although I received them in German. There’s a Lidl and a bakery 5 minutes away, making it easier. Staff is great, responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay - too short. Next time will stay longer. Please add a lock in the bathroom for better privacy - to prevent accidental walk-ins. Recommend you label the parking spots and make sure the parking spot in front of A2 is reserved for the guests in A2. Little cars parking there prevented my large SUV from having an adequate parking spot on a tight, incline and slippery (black ice in winter) entry road with really small parking spots."
Hotel Tannhof
Boutique Hotel Kokoschinski
"Very dirty rooms, the toilet in the bathroom was completely covered in vomit. The food in the restaurant was not enjoyable. Breakfast for 10 euros per person was not ready on time and there were frozen rolls every day. The boss does not respond to criticism and just takes the money. Absolutely not recommended."
Burg Hotel Feldberg
"The hotel is located at one of the Black Forest's highest points (1389m), which in itself is a plus if you're looking for cooler weather. Beautiful walking trails all around, the map collection captured in a grandma's file kept at Reception. The property is very well located for skiing I imagine, with magic carpets & ski shops/restaurants next to the hotel. In non-ski periods (like when we went), there's just one open cafe nearby (with a great view), besides the restaurant the hotel itself. Rooms- very clean, well maintained, toilets modern. An empty minibar to store your stuff. Reception- staff were friendly enough, with passable English. Restaurant- excellent food & service, though pricey. While booking the stay, the hotel offered a fairly expensive price for dinner, but didn't needlessly push it (unlike some other larger hotels in the area, which is why we chose to stay with them). We ate some dinners at a pizzeria six km away, a hit with children. Breakfast- Good spread. with a variety of fresh breads, cheese and fruits. They make eggs to order, though that's not advertised - you have to ask. The only downside is they make you sit on the same table throughout your stay (dinner/breakfast), which makes it a little boring. Parking- limited in the free spaces. You could book a garage spot for €5 per night, recommended if you're going during a busy period. Nearby sights- the Feldburg turm (tower) is a 5 minute drive from the hotel, with a €14 cable car to the top. The 450m suspension (walking) bridge in Todtnau, a 15 minute drive, was a great find for us, completely unexpected in the middle of nowhere. Lake Titisee with all its attractions is a 20 minute drive. Shopping: Lidl and a few other shops/cafes a 6 minute drive from the hotel. Overall, we had a great time and plan to be back. "
Hotel Adler Bärental
"The owner and the family are nice and friendly. The room is clean and breakfast is variety and great. The location is not far from Titisee. It takes us 10 mins to get there. We would stay there again. "
Hotel Waldeck Mit Restaurant "Florian'S"
"Amazing family-run hotel and restaurant! We have visited the restaurant 4x in our week's stay in the area and we have a wonderful memory of the lovely and friendly lady Stephanie who looked after us (the owner) the kitchen team and lovely and unforgettable server Luiji and his helper Roberto the robot 😀 They truly care and value their customers. They are all so friendly and nothing is too much for them ....the food is outstanding! Great taste and value for money! Preferred entertainment for our 10-year-old Sofia We would definitely come back from the UK if possible to see them all again and taste some of Florian's meals again 😋 Thank you so much for the best dinning experience"

Hotel Restaurant Peterle
"This was our favorite hotel in the Black Forest, our room was large and comfortable and it was great to hear the cuckoo clock during our stay. We also made use of the very large sauna which the staff are very happy to switch on for you to use on request. The hotel is a very short walk from the station, we caught the train to Barental Feldberg where we started a very nice walk to Feldberg mountain resort and then onto Feldsee tarn, on the way back we stopped to visit the Schnapps museum, I believe the train also goes to Lake Titisee as well. You can also walk to Barental Feldberg through the forest, about 30 mins. The staff made us feel very welcome and the food was great. Michelle provided excellent service during the evening meal, it was a very relaxed and enjoyable experience."
Hotel Diana
"Pleasant hotel. Well located for hiking departures. Beautiful swimming pool and sauna. Perfect breakfast. The staff is welcoming. Free parking. Unobstructed view of the Titisee depending on the orientation of the room."

Black Forest Lodge
"Sensational location and very nice, stylishly furnished rooms. We were satisfied with the shower, kitchen, balcony, and room itself, with one exception: the balcony wasn't cleaned at all and was full of ash. The "self-service" concept is the starting point here (staff are only on hand for two hours from 4 pm, and, for example, emptying the trash is the guest's responsibility), which is generally okay, but leaves a very bitter aftertaste if needed, as no one will help you. Therefore, bring plenty of bath towels, learn how to operate the sauna, and buy only what you actually like (don't forget vinegar and oil). Breakfast was not to our liking at all, and this needs to be made clear, as some guests, in their enthusiasm, presented a misleading picture. The two rolls per guest are a nice touch. The 120 grams of Black Forest ham and salami are insufficient for two people, and, more importantly, with 397 calories per 100 grams, it's not something I would willingly eat. The cheese is also pointless calories with the taste of mass-produced Gouda. So buy whatever you like (bread rolls, salt/margarine, jam, honey, and milk are provided) and enjoy the fantastic view. I would come back, but with much more luggage and food, and I would request an additional cleaning of the balcony. It's family-friendly, but this has its drawbacks in the spa area (no peace and quiet, children jumping in)."
