Hotel Waldeck Mit Restaurant "Florian'S" ★★★
"Amazing family-run hotel and restaurant! We have visited the restaurant 4x in our week's stay in the area and we have a wonderful memory of the lovely and friendly lady Stephanie who looked after us (the owner) the kitchen team and lovely and unforgettable server Luiji and his helper Roberto the robot 😀 They truly care and value their customers. They are all so friendly and nothing is too much for them ....the food is outstanding! Great taste and value for money! Preferred entertainment for our 10-year-old Sofia We would definitely come back from the UK if possible to see them all again and taste some of Florian's meals again 😋 Thank you so much for the best dinning experience"
Hotel Tannhof ★★★
Boutique Hotel Kokoschinski ★★★
"Just a crappy place. Dirty, old, restaurant inedible, breakfast overpriced and frozen rolls, at breakfast there is still rubbish from the night before on the table. Service is super slow. The manager doesn't care about anything. Never again from this place."
Hotel Adler Bärental ★★★
"Beautiful blend of traditional German hotel with very modern updates. Some how blended perfectly like still seeing the old wooden beams of the building but having a wonderful rain shower in the bathroom. Our room was so comfortable after a long day of travel had two chairs to sit in a nice bed and a place for everything. Thought the coal hooks near the door and the boot racks and large towel warmers were a very thoughtful touch. The bench at the end of the bed was also great to put luggage on or put your boots on or prep you next day outfit. Also had a nice desk and decent WiFi if work needed to be done. Could not hear any of the other guest from our room. The most important thing to me is a clean room and it was so clean everywhere! Towels and sheets perfectly white and soft, hardwood floors and rugs excellent. Really one of the cleanest places I have ever been. The most amazing thing about the place were the people the couple who run the hotel were lovely and always helpful in a genuine way. They also had their children with them at times which was so lovely. Would so recommend the experience so few family run hotels left and none that make such a warm and welcoming stay. Hope to go back someday!"
Black Forest Lodge ★★★★
"Sensational location and very nice, stylishly furnished rooms. We were satisfied with the shower, kitchen, balcony, and room itself, with one exception: the balcony wasn't cleaned at all and was full of ash. The "self-service" concept is the starting point here (staff are only on hand for two hours from 4 pm, and, for example, emptying the trash is the guest's responsibility), which is generally okay, but leaves a very bitter aftertaste if needed, as no one will help you. Therefore, bring plenty of bath towels, learn how to operate the sauna, and buy only what you actually like (don't forget vinegar and oil). Breakfast was not to our liking at all, and this needs to be made clear, as some guests, in their enthusiasm, presented a misleading picture. The two rolls per guest are a nice touch. The 120 grams of Black Forest ham and salami are insufficient for two people, and, more importantly, with 397 calories per 100 grams, it's not something I would willingly eat. The cheese is also pointless calories with the taste of mass-produced Gouda. So buy whatever you like (bread rolls, salt/margarine, jam, honey, and milk are provided) and enjoy the fantastic view. I would come back, but with much more luggage and food, and I would request an additional cleaning of the balcony. It's family-friendly, but this has its drawbacks in the spa area (no peace and quiet, children jumping in)."
Hotel Restaurant Peterle ★★★
"My husband and I stayed at Hotel Peterle as part of our InnTravel walking holiday in the Black Forest. What an absolute gem. Tobias and his wife (who own this beautiful hotel and restaurant) made sure we had a fantastic stay. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the lawn with beautiful views. The food and wine were sensational. Tobias is a very talented chef and we were delighted to experience a four course meal on our first evening, and a five course menu with matched wines on the second evening. Tobias accommodated the fact that we don’t eat meat without any issues. The fish and vegetarian dishes were exceptional as were the wines. Even breakfast was beautiful. We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely hotel and incredible restaurant."
Burg Hotel Feldberg ★★★
"We had an incredible stay at Burghotel Feldberg! From the moment we arrived, the staff was outstanding – friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. This hotel is perfect for families, as it’s extremely kid-friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The food was simply amazing – every meal felt like a treat! The rooms were spotless and had a modern design, offering all the comfort we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is fantastic, close to nature with stunning views, making it a great base for exploring the area. Highly recommended!"
Cozy apartment 5 minutes walk to the ski lift ★★★
Hotel Diana ★★★
"Overall a good hotel, however they advertise peace and relaxation with an indoor pool and sauna, but this is hardly possible as there are children all over the area and it feels like a children's playground. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you as only "children" count."
