Caybeach Papagayos

Had a brilliant week in Caybeach Papagayos. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. The pool is heated although not warm but the kids didn’t seem to be bothered by it. Nice walk from there to the marina, takes about half an hour if you go down the path opposite to the right of the bus stop and keep going. That path will also take you to the shopping centre you can see from the pool. Not being a fan of the hustle and bustle of playa Blanca other than a quick visit, this location was ideal for us and we couldn’t have asked for more. Due to a late flight we were able to secure late check out and if felt like we got an extra day!

Stayed here sept 2024 absolutely loved it we have booked again for September 2025. Apartments spacious and clean,if you want a quiet relaxing holiday I would highly recommend.We had a ground floor apartment near the pool just ticked all the boxes.Supermarket and few bars 5mins away. Me and my other half use to walk to marina plenty of restaurants and bars.Staff at Caybeach were magnificent and friendly couldn’t have asked for anything better.Only downside there is no bar (this is not a complaint) supermarket 5 mins. If you want a quiet relaxing holiday trust me this hotel is a must. Ps I don’t usually write reviews but this hotel deserves one

Enjoyed a quiet stay in our 1 bed apartment. Ideally located on the site and not disturbed by any noise day or night. 1 pillow per bed and no spares wasn’t ideal for my sleep preference. Staff were helpful where needed. However thought the pool lad really got paid for watching barely anyone go in the pool. He never removed a random glass or a small amount of rubbish that was present in one of the poolside planters. He could also have filled his time sorting out the broken sunbeds into a separate pile rather than just re stacking them with the fully operational ones. (Just saying). The complex wasn’t in my ideal location but I only realised once there. If the location is right for you then this complex offers good value.

Lovely place for self catering stay. Great view, lovely living area, kitchen with kettle/hob and microwave. A welcome pack of washing up liquid and cleaning clothes. AIRCON was great when it was really warm at night. It is about 30 minutes meander to the closest town/bars/restaurants etc. Slightly longer to the main Playa Blanca town, which is more lively. There is a bus but we didn't use this, goes from outside the complex every half hour. Gorgeous views on the walk, and if you go away from the town, there is a lovely quiet beach, but this is a bit hidden and a bit of a trek across uneven ground. (Wear sensible shoes) we were given directions by the receptionist. There is a small shopping area only 5 mins away where there are a few bars and places to eat, and a supermarket to get what you need, milk, bread etc. The cakes at simple and natural were delicious a definate treat to try, We hired bikes from bike sensation for the day and we found the young chap in there brilliant. We had a small issue, but this was resolved without too much fuss. It's a great way to see some of the island. We found the staff at caybeach to be polite, helpful and with no issues. The pool was always quiet and no trouble finding somewhere to sit down. The only issues I would say would be; they need some kind of fridge, machine to buy cold drinks they do not have a bar. But some way of getting a drink would be good. Also a dustpan and brush in the apartment would have been great the cleaners were great but some days the sand etc on the floor I would have liked to clean this up ourselves, and a chopping board in the kitchen. Silly niggles but still would of helped a little.

Arrived late Monday 23rd September, the man on reception was extremely pleasant and came out to show us where our apartment was. Pool area is lovely, no fighting for sunbeds, all lovely and clean. There's no pool bar so it would definitely benefit from a vending machine for cold drinks. Towels changed most days and beds were also changed. No kettle in the room although there is a coffee machine, asked at reception and a kettle was provided. Free WiFi in apartment and around the pool . Across the road 5 minutes away is a supermarket and a couple of bars. The bus stop is outside into Playa Blanca and runs every 30 minutes. Loved this holiday and can't wait to return ❤️

Had a lovely relaxing holiday at caybeach. Spacious apartment with really comfy bed, large bathroom with powerful shower and hairdryer, amazing views, only a short walk to supermarket and restaurants and bus stop outside apartments to explore further. The only thing missing was a bar but not a problem as shops across the road. I would definately stay here again and caybeach deserves a higher star rating.
