Rooms are average. Not in my cleanliness standards (hair, dust, mold). Great location. Pretty noisy from 09:30-10:00 to 23:30-00:00. Comfortable and functional. Still fine for a night. You don’t need more than a night to get around Fenghuang anyway. Value for money is not much cop.

This is really one of the worst hotel stay I have. Service: non existent. When I ask for help via wechat, the response took more than 1 hour and there was no one manning the reception. When I finally saw a staff sitting at the reception sofa, he continued using his phone and does not even lift his head to acknowledge me despite me walking down the stairs right in front of him. When I checked out, there was no staff again and so I just put my room card on the table and left, after leaving a wechat message. Room and amenities: Room is very dusty. The shower and toilet are separated. The shower area is so small that you don't have space to hang or put your clothes or towel. The worst is the water which was difficult to adjust the temperature, either scalding hot or too cold. The staff came but left in a hurry before I could test. In the end I gave up and did not shower. Just a few minutes of testing of the water and it seeped over to the toilet area. The seal of the shower glass door also came off, so the entire floor would have definitely been wet if I had taken a full shower. The only things commendable were the lady who came to guide me to the hotel, after a good 45mins wait in the cold cause no one attended to my wechat (Help arrive only after I managed to call the hotel via trip.com) and the location of the hotel. I hope major improvements could be done.

You cannot go directly to the hotel as cars are not permitted. Our taxi driver called the owner and he came and we walked about 2-3 minutes to the hotel. The location is very convenient and the owner let us check in early.
