"I have used this hotel for work trips a couple of times. It is well located, at 44 and 270, making it easy to drive out to various places in the StL Metro area. This is not a romantic getaway hotel, it's a straightforward "I need a place to sleep" hotel, and nothing more. It's clean, comfortable, and quiet. Don't let the "industrial" locale put you off. The people who work here are very friendly, and the rates are very reasonable. I don't do hotel breakfasts, but looking in the dining room, it's the typical make your own waffle, scrambled eggs kind of breakfast. The coffee and coffee maker in the room is very good. They also have microwaves and fridges in the rooms."

"The carpeting in the room was gross--practically shiny it was so dirty black. I had to use a soapy washcloth to clean the bottoms of my feet before putting on clean socks in the morning. The washcloth turned black. Gross! Plus, the room's ventilation system didn't work or wasn't designed to take the warm, humid air out of the room. The towels never dried and our clothes felt damp. Also, housekeeping never gave us a new set of towels to use on our second of two nights we stayed. We had to re-use those gross black washcloths. In addition, our room key kept not working. We had to go back downstairs from the third floor to the lobby three times each night to get them to re-program the card key to where it finally worked. Just an inconvenience to add to the awful dirtiness of the room. What a ghetto hotel. We won't be back."

"No frills hotel. Breakfast was very subpar. They seemed understaffed and trash was overflowing during the breakfast rush while food was coming out burnt. The bathrooms are so small that only one person can fit in there making it hard for families with young children."
