Despite the hotel being advertised as a 5-star property, the experience was far below acceptable standards. Upon arrival, the room was not ready, and throughout the stay, we encountered multiple serious issues: 🚫 Service and Facility Failures • Telephone in the room was non-functional and remains unfixed to this day, despite repeated requests. • Air conditioning was extremely poor, making the room unbearably hot — a serious concern given the summer heat and our age. • Although the kettle is now working, complimentary water is not provided unless specifically requested, which contradicts the advertised amenities. • Towels were removed early each morning, and on several occasions, not replaced, leaving us unable to shower. • Room service and staff responsiveness were consistently poor, requiring us to go down to reception for every request — a major inconvenience for elderly guests. These failures caused significant discomfort and distress. The lack of functioning air conditioning and basic hygiene amenities made the stay physically exhausting. The absence of a working phone created safety concerns, especially given our age and health needs. The hotel’s advertising is misleading, and the actual experience does not reflect the standards of a 5-star establishment. This constitutes a breach of service and false representation, for which I am seeking redress.
