When we encountered a few challenges, they didn't just offer quick solutions; they thoughtfully assessed the pros and cons from our perspective, even if it meant extra work for their team. They have really went above and beyond!! The room itself was brilliant, and I had a very comfortable stay. My kids had a fabulous time playing in the snow right in our front yard! I also loved the wellness area, which had everything we needed, including a sauna, steam bath, and infrared options to help us relax. The dinner was also delightful. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"Comfortable room with good amount of space and nice view, very tasty food with good choice every day, variety of choices for breakfast and nice spa/swimming pool. The kids’ playground is a great place for the little ones. The position of the hotel is good both for a walk in Castelrotto and to get to Seiseralm through the lift. A nice walk and lunch on the Fiè Lake is also a lovely outdoor activity. My only downside was the strong sweat smell in the corridors/bedrooms/lifts, that we experienced for two years in a row, coming from cleaning staff. It’s really annoying as you wish and expect to go back to a good smelling room which has just been cleaned and you find this instead."

"We were quite disappointed with our stay at this property, which did not live up to the expectations set by its website. The property is marketed as a quiet, relaxing, and luxurious hotel/apartment complex, and given the high price point, we anticipated a premium experience similar to what we've enjoyed at other establishments in the area. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. What we encountered was more akin to a traditional family-run establishment rather than the luxurious retreat we were promised. Upon arrival, we discovered that the room we had specifically booked through their website was not available. Instead, we were assigned a different room, which was far from what we had selected and paid for. The receptionist, who was polite, did show us an alternative room, but it was even worse: it lacked privacy and was directly in front of the always-busy pool. The room we were assigned was not listed in their catalog, as it is a new addition located next to the owner's apartment. It was far from the peaceful environment we expected, being situated beside the restaurant and above the main road—the only road leading to the property. The view was nothing more than the rooftop of the restaurant (probably a quarter of the beloved castle was visible). When we addressed our concerns with the manager, we were told they were considering “downgrading” the room, yet we were still charged the full price for the luxury chalet we had originally booked (ah no, they gave us one body lotion and a shower gel). This was incredibly frustrating and demonstrated poor customer service. It felt as though they didn’t care about our experience at all. Additionally, there were several other aspects that contributed to our dissatisfaction. The property lacks a genuinely relaxing and private area; music plays constantly, with the same tracks looping endlessly. The breakfast self-service area is small and cramped, barely accommodating four people at a time. Other issues we encountered included a balcony facing the road with a bright, powerful light that couldn’t be turned off, hair in the sheets, and even a contact lens left in the bathroom. Our overall takeaway is that this property, like many others, fails to deliver on its brand promises. Perhaps we were simply unlucky, but it seemed that no one at the property truly understood—or cared about—our concerns."

"Amazing in every way! My favorite place in Italy! This is more than just a beautiful hotel. The Romantik Hotel Turm is an experience for the soul and all your senses! The views are stunning from every terrace, room and even the sauna. The food is excellent quality, memorable and delicious. We are still thinking about the strudel bar after dinner on Saturday night! The spa is unlike any other I have experienced...the salt grotto, pine sauna, foot bath and sauna (complete with a with a sauna show) were all deeply relaxing and so much fun. The rooms are all unique, simple and lovely in true Tyrolean style. Housed in a 13th century castle, there is beautiful stone and wood everywhere and it smells wonderful in every space. In addition to all that wonderfulness the Turm is an art gallery. The hallways are filled with one of a kind artistic masterpieces...drawings, paintings, sculptures including two Picassos. I LOVE this place. I cannot imagine a more magical spot in this beautiful part of the world."

"Hotel Waldsee provided a wonderful experience for our unforgettable vacation. The entire place is a blend of luxury comfort with outstanding views, relaxing atmosphere and exceptional staff. We love good food and let us say the Chefs deserve a special praise. We opted for dinner there every night. It was fresh, beautifully presented, and oh so delicious. And, the dining room is gorgeous. Views abound. There is also a wonderful bar where we enjoyed the special drink of the day before dinner. Regarding our room: it was spacious, spotlessly clean. Towels for the indoor pool were provided also. Yes! huge indoor pool. Hotel Waldsee is a very special place and we will definitely return."

"The rooms are so big and clean! Very impressed. This hotel is beautiful from rooms to the amenities to location. Staff, particularly at reception, are so friendly. Initially I was worried that the location might be a bit of a walk from the bus stop but it was only a few minutes especially when you find a few cut throughs. As we didn’t have a car the hotel organised for a driver to meet us at the bus stop to collect us and our luggage, and dropped us off for our departure. Breakfast buffet was fabulous. More than enough choices with snacks available to get you through the day hiking. A real highlight for our daughter was the indoor/ outdoor pool at the end of a long day hiking. My husband loved the saunas. Bed linen was lovely and plenty of towels. For people from the desert who live in AC we enjoyed being able to leave the balcony door open at night. And the roller screen on the balcony ensured total blackout with fresh air still getting through. The balcony is a great size for chilling and reading. Our only negative was the noise of children running about until after midnight in rooms above us. But it wouldn’t stop us visiting Emmy again, we’d just make sure to request a room on the top floor A fabulous stay at a beautiful family hotel."
