Filey Grange Guest House
"8 of us went as had to attend a family funeral. Very welcoming especially during a sad time. I cannot recommend this highly enough. They have thought of everything. Think we were out of season as there was no cooked breakfast but not a problem as due to the location, there are plenty of cafes nearby. Having said that there was an excellent supply of cereals, fruit juice, milk And fresh fruit. There was even ‘goody’ boxes with chocolate and crisps. The bedrooms are excellent with fridge and jug of fresh milk, good supply of tea, coffee and biscuits. The little extras were a bonus with wine glasses and corkscrew. Wardrobes has dressing gowns and slippers. Bathrooms were spacious and exceptionally clean, as was the room. There were plenty of mirrors and plug sockets in the right place, well thought out meaning you can actually dry your hair and see what you are doing. Although the beds were comfy think it was memory foam and I personally find them too hot, but that’s personal choice. On entering this guest house there are beach towels if required. All rooms have big TV’s, which are internet so loads to watch if you don’t fancy going out. We all had a lovely stay despite our reason for being there. Really well thought out place to stay and comfortable - Well Done !!!"
Sunny Bay
Three Tuns Hotel
"Lovely comfy beds, great location, friendly, clean and cosy room, great price in the heart of town. Perfect for a night out near the other pubs and restaurants. We will be returning soon. Has a very welcoming feel and breakfast was fab too. If you like a proper seaside bed and breakfast then you really can't go wrong here. Teapots!! An absolute bonus. "
The Bay Filey
"Could have been a little cleaner. Few items needed mending - shower screen, carpet grips were sharp. Nice location once we found the street name Booked tennis but was water logged so too slippy to play Good kitchen if wanted to make meals Hot water was hot but was signs saying so Filey 5 mins drive - see photo for Parking close to the beach"
Athol Guest House
"Absolutely brilliant. Sam and Diane are exceptional hosts, so welcoming and friendly. Athol House is immaculate yet comfortable with superb breakfasts. This was our first visit but will definitely not be the last!"
