New owners are delightful local family who couldn’t do more to help. We booked at last minute after change of plans and room was lovely and v clean. A proper breakfast too. The bar wasn’t open yet but they said it will be soon. Would def stay again

Super friendly welcome, all very clean and a great cooked breakfast to start the day! New owners seem really hands-on and to want their guests to have a good stay and enjoy lovely Nairn. Thanks for a great stay, will definitely be back before too long.

Very welcoming on arrival, Couldn't do too much for us. Room was clean bright and same for toilet and bathroom. All the extra bits / Tea, coffee etc included. Breakfast, too much choice LOL. What we had was cooked properly and delicious. Won't be stopping anywhere else in Nairn from now on. Good luck in your new adventure Simon, Jennifer & Girls.

Stayed here with family and friends for Hogmanay, had a fantastic time. Entertainment was great. Hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean with great facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

We arrived to find the hotel all locked up with no staff available, rang the ring doorbell and after a while managed to speak to someone. The connection was very poor and it was heavily raining so this was not easy. We were given a code to access the key safe and our room key. The same key also opened the front door ?? if all bedrooms had the same key? If so not very safe! When we arrived in our room it was clear the bathroom had not been cleaned; the toilet bowl was filled with urine which had not been flushed, there were soap wrappers left lying from previous guests. The tap on the sink was also falling off and not actually anchored to the sink in any way (I noticed this was also reported in a previous review 1 month ago yet staff denied any knowledge!) The bed looked freshly made but on closer inspection there were multiple hairs on the bottom sheet. There was also a lot of wear and tear and general dustiness on skirting boards etc. In the morning we discovered there was no hot water in the room at all! We complained about all of the above and were offered a 50% refund as we also decided not to stay for breakfast as originally planned.

Brilliant service, food and atmosphere. The food is second to none the managers go above and beyond for you. The decor is beautifully decorated, modern and bright. Although I didn't stay we viewed the rooms, they are roomy, also beautifully decorated.

I gave them a 1 star as you cannot give a zero. Arrived with partner and 4 year old son to find hotel locked up and numbers on door for contact were out of service. After a bit of digging we found there was an associated hotel 5 minutes away. When we went to see them they advised us yes they have our booking for clubhouse and took us around to an empty unmanned hotel with no breakfast or meal availability. We were taken to the annexe room we booked to find it filthy and uninhabitable and were told the hotel is being given up soon as no staff but we were welcome to stay seeing as we paid. A ridiculous statement. Avoid at all costs as the hotel owners are just trying to get you to stay at extra cost at nearby The west end hotel making out they are doing you a favour.
