Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport Reviews

My flight was delayed by 12 hours and I was not able to check in the hotel as scheduled. I informed the hotel with proof of the flight delay. Did not manage to get a refund. Asking for a review of the hotel seems inappropriate.

Absolutely brilliant services . Highly recommend 👌 staff is so helpful . I left my bag in the shuttle while leaving for the airport, so I rang hotel they came back with my bag in 5 minutes . Thank you foe great service and help. Keep the good work going.

Location was excellent, children were very entertained as they were able to see the planes taking off and landing from our window. On check in I asked if I could pay for breakfast for the next morning. The reception staff charged me both for both children’s breakfasts. They are aged 1 and 3 years. There was one single packet of Weetabix left for their breakfast, which they had to share. They also didn’t have interest in the toast unusually, as the bread could have been better. The milk was also sour when we poured in into our tea. I complained at reception, the staff were very helpful and immediately returned the cost of the children’s breakfast. These were different staff from the night before.

The room was lovely and clean, bed was so comfortable, and I had control over the thermostat. Bathroom was large with good water pressure and complimentary robe, hot chocolate, tea, coffee and cookies. The front desk woman was excellent at her job, even remembering my room number when I asked for access to the gym after checking in. Dinner at the Mayfly was quiet and delicious (fish and chips) and Katie was an excellent server. The gym appears to be recently redecorated but the machines are low-end, outdated concept 2 bikes and rowers and a strange non automatic (manual?) treadmill. The free weights were new and I preferred these to the machines. If strong cardio matters to you during your stay, spend more to stay at the Hilton with its Peloton contract. If not, stay here. Breakfast was a little odd. Granted I did walk in 9:35 when breakfast closes at 10, but as soon as I started taking food from the buffet a woman started clearing the condiments away. She also told me that coffee and tea were served table side but after asking someone for coffee, I was told “I’ll be with you shortly” and she never returned. I ended up serving myself the coffee from the carafe. I don’t mind a self-serve breakfast but management should doublecheck with the breakfast servers. I noticed that all of the other guests (men) had coffee, but I’m not sure if they, also, served themselves. All in all, it was a lovely and relaxing stay, and the room felt very lux. 4/5 stars

Excellent hotel! Great location with Dublin Airport only approx 10 minute drive. Safe, secure car park on site Convenient shuttle bus service Lovely, spacious bar/restaurant with great choice of food and drinks. Plus, 24hr coffee dock beside bar. Friendly staff This was my third stay in the hotel, most recently, April 2025 I stayed in a rooftop balcony suite. King-size bed, living area, balcony and loads more. Great comfy rooms

Perfect for a comfortable and quiet overnight stay after a multi-flight journey on route home for the holidays. Very much appreciated the calm and peaceful atmosphere here. Great breakfast with very well-prepared, polite and efficient room service. Thank you, would definitely stay again.

Actually I have paid for my breakfast on reception desk when I check in, But when I go to for breakfast in the morning. They staff told me I not pay for breakfast , and confirm 3 times still this answer. Finally I show my payment record then being confirmed. Really uncomfortable for this.

Beautiful Hotel.... lovely staff and food

Wonderful hotel close to Dublin airport with free regular shuttle bus - timetable available on their website and in hotel. Room was lovely and spacious, good facilities. We are in the Runway restaurant, food was delicious and service was impeccable, could t fault it.

The hot water is unstable and I hope it can be improved. I will consider it next time.

The room is spacious, the service is good, and it is close to the airport with shuttle bus. The only complaint is that the shower head cannot be held in hand and the large spray range makes it difficult to use. It is difficult to wash your butt or not to get your hair wet. I have been working in bathroom for many years, and this is the first time I have seen a shower head with this kind of water spray.
