"Room was dirty and very dated. Bare electric wires exposed. Heat-AC unit never shut off and very loud, Water coming in at the top of the unit. Shower curtain torn, blow dryer broken, no drain at sink, complimentary shampoo and conditioner bottles empty. Overall the entire place is very run down and dirty. We left and moved to another hotel."

"First time for us to stay at Hilton Inn at Fishkilll. It was very quiet environment and there is a supermarket nearby and some restaurants so it was very convenient. Room: spacious and comfortable and big bed we were able to rest well. Although we could hear boiler or some sort of machines noise all the time where we stayed at 2F…except that it was lovely stay. They’ve got a spacious fridge and big desk which was also lovely to have during our stay. Amenities: we were surprised that there was no kettle provided in a room but probably it’s common in the US, but at least they had a microwave so we were able to boil water. We asked reception if we could borrow a kettle and they said they would come back by a call but they never came back to us. Reception: was nice and friendly people were there. When we forgot a jumper they kept it so it was helpful, thanks to cleaning ladies and receptionist. Thank you! Check-out: they kindly allowed us to stay till 12:00 which was helpful as we had to pack everything and didn’t want to rush. Thank you!"

"Located in a commercial area, surrounded by other hotels. It's about a 20-minute drive from Cold Spring and a 10-minute drive from Beacon, which is convenient for visiting both towns, though there isn't much to see or do there. What was truly outrageous was the bathroom ceiling leaking. It was a terrible experience, especially considering the price of over 3000 a night for a weekend stay – definitely not worth it."

"I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. They overbooked the hotel despite people receiving a confirmation they had a room!!!! The guy at the front desk was as pleasant as he could be under the circumstances as he had to turn MANY people away who thought they had a room for the night. He said that the "third party" which books the rooms has an incorrect number of rooms in their site and always books too many people. Well, it sounds as if they know what the problem is. So, the solution is NOT to use this third party site. I booked the room over a week in advance, and I used the Motel 6 website to book it. The guy at the front desk said on that day he gave away his last room about 3:00 in the afternoon and has been turning people away since then, people who booked a room and thought they had a place to stay. It is time for this hotel to build on or close permanently. It forced people to scramble to try to find another place to stay. This especially stinks late at night when you thought you had a place to stay only to discover that you did not. Motel 6 management, YOU CAN DO BETTER!! You should be ashamed of yourselves for NOT fixing a problem that has existed for a while. I was able to find another hotel several miles away. Several others who were being turned away from this Motel 6 also ended up at the Super 8 in Newburgh. The front desk manager there was super nice. I told him what happened, and he said THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME AT THAT MOTEL 6! Wow. You guys are a joke."
