"The Bar Manager is absolute PIG! had a booking in December for a large group. There was severe traffic and I received an email 8 mins after the time we had booked saying “You are not here, we are giving away your table. Regards the manager.”We ended up arriving 15 mins late which I advised by reply after receiving that email. At approximately 2pm there were a group of middle age men absolutely blind smashing glasses, spitting on each other, regurgitating drinks, fighting and tackling each other. The table was full with spilt drinks and food that had been throwing at each other. They were getting continually worse and the young family next to them were getting hit by food and bumbed by the group not to mention the swearing and yelling. I discreetly went over and said to the manager “Can you just keep an eye on them, that young family are coping it”. His reply was “well I’m not going to kick them out for just the family”. Shocked I walked away and shortly after the bar assistant came and started picking up their multiple broken glasses. She cut herself badly and the poor girl may have required stitches. She was not happy with the manager and apologised to us. I would love the owner of the premise to read this and I’m happy to follow up with any other questions"

"I don't usually write bad reviews but the attitude of the owner of this homestay was beyond anything I've ever experienced and I don't want anyone to have to go through this. Very disappointing and unsettling stay. While this may be a budget option, it fails to meet even basic expectations for cleanliness, safety, and professionalism. After booking, I received a message from the property which included the following: “132 Nicholson Homestay is a budget accommodation more suitable for clients who just need a place to crash for the night. There will be no 5 star cleanliness and no soundproofing. This is why we are listed as budget homestay/hostel not a hotel. ‘Karens’ will not find it comfortable here.” This language is extremely derogatory and unprofessional. I was unable to cancel after receiving it due to a zero-refund cancellation policy, which left me stuck with the booking. The property itself was not clean, and the soundproofing is essentially non-existent. I was repeatedly disturbed by loud door slamming early in the morning and ongoing noise late into the night, including from staff, making it extremely difficult to get any rest. During my stay, the situation escalated to the point where police had to be called to the property, which made me feel unsafe and extremely uncomfortable — not something any guest should have to experience. The staff were unapproachable, unfriendly, and unprofessional throughout. Most concerning, however, was how the situation was handled after I checked out — the owner’s response to my complaint was dismissive and completely unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here."

"I booked the Studio room as happy with the outlay for a quiet & tranquil night eirh my partner. Unfortunately due to someone switching the fridge off in the room , when we opened the fridge water leaked out flooded the floor. I alerted the reception as it was a health & safety issue. We had a room swap from one side of level 3 to the other. This room was an open room with a single & King bed, it really was not what we had asked for & booked.. Residents staying in the same viicinity were loud, swearing & coming in & out of their rooms, up & down the stairs & lift close to our room in the early hours of the morning until 4.30 am, then around 5am a loud & annoying fan sound echoing in our room! I moved to the single bed for some relief! My patrner & l hoped for a quiet tranquil night, we ended up in a room change very different to what we had booked for & a night filled with loud music, foul language, door slamming, loud talking & laughing, lift activation, a loud fan echoing through our room. Will we come again? NO I'm sorry. Reception were lovely & we appreciated the quick action fir a room change, shame we were moved to a less attrachtive room with nosy neighboors."
