Room is clean and spacious. Location is far from city center, need to take a train from Bern train station. We chose this hotel because of proximity to Gruyère. Reception only open in the morning so when we checked in, we needed to call the host as we did not have the code to do self check- in . Nevertheless, it was a good 2 day stays .

A hotel in a beautiful town. The steaks and pizza are super authentic. The Indian service staff are very enthusiastic. The breakfast is rich (15 francs, 5 for 80, I don’t know how to calculate it). The surrounding scenery is shocking. It is a very worthwhile stay experience. grateful!

非常老舊的酒店，設施差，房間又小又舊，也沒有任何風景可以看。關鍵沒有任何服務，所有的入住程序都是自助的。更可惡的是早上沒起床就有服務員不敲門就直接用鑰匙開門進來了。完全不值這個價，太坑了！千萬別訂！

Just some small attention points : - when paying with credit card they apply their own currency rate rather defavorable (1,26 in stead of 1,3 according to the mastercard currency converter) - when reservation via internet the price are a bit higher then mentionned at the hotel itself, moreover for half pension they speak about 4 plates only got 3 - the personnel (it was the end of their shift i must admit) is not always attentive : at 19h they did not ask whether or not I wanted to eat, had to wait quiet some time for the main dish without being told, which was immediately followed by the dessert - if they speak about crême brulée they mean the crême only (so without the caramelisation)

We just stayed their for one night, on a hike between Schwarzee and Bern. The hotel is located in the middle of the town, close to the railway station. The room was OK but without airconditioning (were there on a very hot day). The bathroom was very tiny. The most positive experience: the quality of the food (we ate there for dinner) while the breakfast buffet was average to good.

I stayed at the Hotel Sonne for several nights while I was in Schwarzenburg. The rooms are of a nice size and were remodeled recently. I slept well while at this hotel and enjoyed having a balcony. The only drawback to this hotel is the extremely small size of the bathroom. The toilet is wedged between the wall and the shower, and the shower itself is smaller than an RV shower. Since they remodeled the hotel recently, I don't think they will enlarge the bathrooms for many years until they remodel again. The breakfast selection was very limited, but enough. The food in the restaurant was outstanding and I really enjoyed the meal I had in the restaurant.

I stayed in this hotel with my family. We have had a very nice,clean and comfortable rooms. Staff at the hotel was very helpful and friendly and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a pleasant experience. Food was tasty, fresh and cooked to perfection. Hotel itself is situated in a beautiful and picturesque area, surrounded by traditional swiss houses ,churches and quirky shops,with a views of the Alps in a distance. There is a lots to do and explore in the area and anyone can find something for themselves to enjoy. I hope to return next year. Highly recommend.

On espère une traditionnelle auberge de village,et au restaurant on ne sera pas déçu:plusieurs salles et ambiances,une carte attrayante et diversifiée,on reviendra volontiers.Par contre les chambres d'hotel n'ont pas beaucoup d'attrait à part la propreté bien suisse:elles sont petites,sans aucun charme et très minimalistes dans leur aménagement "moderne"sans âge...
