"Disappointing last-minute booking
Booked this hotel at short notice, but what I walked into was appalling. The room's carpet was filthy, and the entire space reeked. Hairs on the bed and in the bathroom were a huge red flag. The duvet had yellow and black stains, which was unhygienic and unacceptable.
Requesting a mattress and bed sheet change was met with indifference - the receptionist didn't bother. Considering the poor state, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Cleanliness is non-negotiable, and this place fell woefully short.
Unless they revamp their cleaning standards, I'd advise others to look elsewhere."

It’s the WORST! Absolutely filthy. Extra duvet had a huge stain, hair everywhere. Shower curtains were filthy. Toilet was filthy. Carpets didn’t look clean either. Do we n the corridors were lots of used linen that needed to go to the laundry

This hotel is very hit and miss. If you get a well-maintained room in a quiet area it's perfectly adequate. This latest stay matched that description, but previous stays here have not.
I was in a ground floor room - I thought the policy was to put single female travellers on an upper floor, but perhaps this has changed? The window didn't have a locking mechanism so although it only opened a limited amount it would be enough for someone to get their head in. Other than that, the stay was fine. Staff I spoke to were very welcoming.
I've given a lower rating for location because it's in the southbound services on the M3, which can make it noisy. Plus, if you are travelling northbound you have to go all the way back to the previous junction and turn around which is very frustrating. I probably won't stay here again.

The room was tired and the curtains were hanging off. Can’t complain as the price was very cheap. For the price , it was perfectly fine for one night .

I thought the room was large and very well kept, no complaints if you have luggage too and the location is close to some service eateries of the motorway. Quiet night. Great place to park overnight for a stopover
