I loved everything about this place, The friendly welcome by not only the couple who runs the hotel but everyone who worked there. Our room was lovely with a nice balcony, roomy and a large bathroom. The bar is well stocked and make som great cocktails. The spa area is very vlean and the pool is well tempered. There is a nice selection of saunas and steambaths. I had two treatments and especially the signature massage by frank was very good. He was not only very skilled but also very pleasant. We ate in Das Grace and James Farmhouse both good and I can highly reccomend Das Grace. Breakfast has a large selection of various breakfast foods and seveal cooked on demand eggdishes. I can highly recomend the somewhat different take on Eggs Benedickt. Also do not cheat yourself from having a piece of cake in the afternoon. My only regret is that I didn't have room for a fill afternoon tea for fear of not being able to eat my dinner. We bumped in to the manageing couple on the street in Flensburg and was touchded by the heart warm way the reconized and greeted us. Thank you for a lovely weeekend - I would love to come back

While we had to shell out a huge price for the room, it was absolutely worth it thanks to the mindblowing views from the room and the excellent waterfront location of the property. If only they had higher quality service, the rating could have gone to 5 stars. We stayed at Hotel am Fjord for one night breaking up our journey back from Denmark. It looks and feels very functional but we very much enjoyed the little touches like a kettle with tea and coffee (still unusual in Germany), a complimentary drink at the bar etc. Breakfast was very good with a variety of options and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in one the slightly bigger rooms with a bath rather than just a shower. On a wet and windy night and after several hours’ driving a good soak in the bath was the perfect way to relax before dinner

I stayed along the Baltic coastal bike road on my bike trip. The contact was uncomplicated and I was very nicely welcomed. My room was in the cellar and the only thing that troubled me a little were the heating or water pipes that passed through the room. The hosts were just building a new shower in the cellar, which caused some noise at the arrival. But as I wanted to go back to the center, it didn't disturb me. There were community showers and one single shower. As I was alone, I used the single shower. I also sleeped well and my bike was safely in a closed garage. Only for night and shower is the price!

We stayed in room #1 which was quite wonderful: very clean, possibly newly renovated. It was spacious and well-equipped, with a delicate yet sizeable bathroom. Five minutes away by foot was a Greek restaurant with friendly staff, quite good food and American-sized portions. Equally close was a small center of shops including groceries, pharmacy and bank. I would stay here again without hesitation and warmly recommend it to others.

The hotel has a parking lot, and free parking is available on the side of the road. It is more convenient to drive by car. The room was very clean, the only downside was that there was no kettle. Fortunately, I was looking for a hotel. The hotel quickly helped to solve it. The service was worthy of recognition.
