Mountain Park Hotel

Room was lovely, bed super comfortable. Linen and towels were super clean, soft and white. Bathroom duspins a bit rusty( needs an update). Roof windows also need a clean, but happy they opened for fresh air at night. Ate at restaurant, food was fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. In all, a very pleasant stay.

Good location and pub , the hotel stuff is very friendly and helpful , having a shower is an issue , because of the bathroom ventilation. It’s not powerful enough, bathroom gets steamy and had to keep the window open every time , overall I’m happy with my stay.

Lovely clean room at a competitive price! Mattress was a little soft for me and tv remote wasn’t working. However the bathroom was great!

The accommodation is tired and needs updating. The rooms are very basic and were not very clean. The bathroom needs to be completely refurbished. The staff were helpful and pleasant but overall not a pleasant stay and would not recommend staying there

Room was spacious and clean, and everything worked as it should (TV, kettle, shower, etc...) Breakfast was also good value, with both hot and cold food included

Would love to give this hotel 5 starts but can’t The staff are great The room is very dated and basics mismatch of Furniture not the cleanest in the world Beds are uncomfortable. But saying that it’s cheap for the area and if you after a quiet nice sleep it’s fine Would definitely stay again

Room could've been a little cleaner. The member of staff on reception was so lovely. I requester for rooms to be ready earlier and they were. Very grateful for this.

So after reading comments from others, good and bad, I believe this hotel has a two tier room system. The front looks good and is ground level. The back is seedy and it seems they haven't made any attempts to do even small things to make up for the dated rooms. The restaurant was good, staff were great. Room was not clean but at least the sheets were, which was appreciated. It looked like the floor had been mopped without vacuuming, small pebbles, what may or may not have been a toenail etc. Something on toilet seat and wall . Garbage can with very rusty pedal, mat inside door was very nasty looking. No windows to open, NO END TABLES. Hand soap close to empty.
