This review is for a bad experience I had with this hotel. I booked this hotel for a date in June 2024 based upon the good reviews I read. I had some concerns about an early flight I have the next day. I wanted to know if I would have a problem getting a taxi to pick me up early in the morning. First of all this hotel has no one on duty until 7:00AM which is way passed the time I need to leave. The person I e-mailed said it is best to walk to another hotel almost a mile from this hotel for a taxi. Walk one mile at 4:00AM in the morning with heavy luggage? I questioned him about this and I never received a good answer. I therefore cancelled this reservation and re-booked with a hotel with better customer service. Beware of this place if you have an early flight!

Location is perfect; super central and within walking distance to the station, market and Duomo. Room was a proper triple with plenty of space for all three of us including our luggage. Bathroom was large and well appointed. Lift was old fashioned and great fun (and fit three of us in). Staff were super lovely, friendly and helpful. They ordered us taxis and let us store our bags until we left the city. We felt safe and welcomed there. Great restaurants and cafes for all meals on the doorstep (cafe that does yoghurt bowls, eggs and avocado toast, and smoothies literally next door. Amazing gluten free restaurant opposite - book it!)

The only positive point is that it is located in the very center. For the rest, old hotel not cared for and run down, linen changed every two days and a lot of dust everywhere. Very rude and obnoxious staff. Also, very inconvenient for those with strollers and children. To be avoided.

Hotel Lorena certainly has its location as its strong point: a few steps from the cathedral and the station (travelling by train we could not ask for better from this point of view). As a support if you want to stay out all day it is an excellent choice, unfortunately the hotel is structurally very dated, especially the bathrooms.

Very convenient hotel for visiting Florence. Quite dated but clean. Big room. Friendly and helpful staff. There is no possibility to have breakfast. Good for a quick stay to visit the city

Beautiful location and view, suitable for "hit and run", slightly retro furniture strongly needs mosquito nets. Staff friendly and polite and very helpful. Clean and tidy rooms.

We were in Florence, we chose to stay at this hotel. Perfect location, very close to the main points. We did everything on foot. A good room, a great shower, good bed, pity no breakfast. Very good service.

Basic hotel, cheap, rooms are ok. A little louder there - sound through the door. But location is ok, hotel is ok for one night. Everything a bit older, but still friendly service. Gladly again for one night.

Hotel con posizione ottimale centralissimo. Ma è unica nota positiva, molto datato, molto impolverato , davvero da rifare da capo....pagato poco per carità ma insomma direi che andrebbe decisamente rinnovato perché il potenziale c'è!!!
