Hotel Luxor Florence Reviews

Decent location right next to the station, across the bridge. The room was clean and tidy.

Hotel is near the railroad station which is good and bad. Train can be heard, there is not so much near the hotel. The hotel probably has the largest room and bathroom among all hotels i stayed this trip in Italy, but the worst breakfast period.

The reviews are lies. I think many are written by the corporation. First of all, it is in the WORST location possible. There is NOTHING around it but trains. There was NO air, there is NO LIFT. The website is dishonest. The "buffet breakfast" consists of scrambled eggs, yogurt and cereal. The beds were terrible. There was a microscopic old tv up on the wall. The "balcony" consisted of a ledge with a small plastic table and an ashtray full of cigarette butts. I could NOT stay there and they refused to refund any of my money paid up front because "they had already received their commision." They told us the city tax could only be paid in "cash" which was a huge red flag. We left and went to another hotel. SAVE yourself the heartache and all the money. Sadly, the ladies how worked there were very nice.

Easy to walk in city but small room

The owners of the hotel really show what hospitable means. U will not regret staying there. Within walking distance to station, nearest being Rosselli. Santa Maria Novella is less than 10mins away. Breakfast was good as well.

Good value, easy to walk to the train station. Never could get the wi-fi to work though. Betta was helpful and very friendly giving me advice on where to go/ eat.

The location is very good with close access to transport. Breakfast is excellent and the owners and staff could not be more helpful. Highly recommended and excellent value for money. Thank you Elisabeta and staff for providing us with a very enjoyable stay; I am sure the majority of your guests will agree with me.

The room is clean and tidy, with high space and windows for ventilation. The location can be said to be very convenient, but it is facing the street and there is some noise from traffic at night.

The room facilities and breakfast are good, but the soundproofing in the room is very poor. You can hear the conversation in the next room and the sound of the door opening and closing outside. Those who focus on sleep should pay attention⚠️

Okay..in many ways

I thought the room was small, but it was actually quite good. The breakfast was quite rich, which was quite good for a three-star hotel. The transportation was also very convenient, and there was the Rome Opera House nearby, so you could book tickets early.

Have you seen the guesthouses in the 1980s? The kind that only people with a marriage certificate and a letter of introduction could stay in. This is a guesthouse next to the railway tracks, run by Indians. The breakfast is very bad. Don't convert the price into RMB and then compare it with Chinese hotels of the same price, or you will be upset... I don't recommend it at all!
