Hotel Maxim Axial

The hotel location is good but the amenities are really old. The reception is on the third floor . There is a lot of ants in the room. Spoken to the front desk asking for changing the room in the morning. I said I may need to book another hotel if they can’t arrange . They asked me to come back later and will pass the message to his colleague . When I come back to the hotel in the evening ,they just done the cleaning and haven’t reply anymore. Due to my fully packed schedule can’t get the change to move to another hotel at night. The second night there is a lot of ants around the room. The WiFi is poor and really slow even I want to use my own data but it is no signal. Not recommend for booking this hotel.

I cannot believe we had to endure a full-night power outage from 7 PM to 7 AM. The temperature inside was sweltering, making it impossible to sleep. What made it worse was the complete lack of response from the staff or management – they offered no emergency measures, no portable lights, no ice or water, and no alternative rooms. Everything we were promised, air conditioning, WiFi, TV, hairdryer, and electrical outlets for charging, was out of commission the entire night. This is not just an inconvenience, it's a health hazard. We felt totally abandoned, and no refund policy. I strongly urge future guests to think twice before booking here.

The location is perfect and the hotel is very beautiful. The staff if also very kind and allowed us to check in early.

Wonderful hotel in a city downtown. You have all you need nearby, just enjoy the city . Quite good breakfast. Cosy room for a single traveler for a good price.Highly recommended

We had a great stay at Maxim Axial. Very centrally located, it’s a 2 mnts walk to the Duomo, , 7 mnts to the Academia and 5 mnts to Uffizia. Every touristy thing is within walking distance and evenings are vibrant because of the live music in the squares around. Hotel serves a very good buffet breakfast - bread, eggs, cheese, coffee, croissants, Greek yogurt, seeds, fresh fruits etc. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly, hotel is clean and you can check photos for the rooms. We had a 3 bed room. Enough space to keep things.
