Jr Hotels Hermes Firenze

After struggling with an old and terrible hotel in Rome, this place was so clean and efficiently designed that it was a joy to stay here! It was spotless, probably because it was just recently renovated~ The sink was a bit on the small side, making it a bit tricky to wash my face (lol). I also loved how close it was to the station!

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to get to Pisa and Cinque Terre. There's also a famous steakhouse downstairs. The hotel has an elevator, and while the common areas are a bit small, the rooms themselves are quite spacious.

The hotel's proximity to the station was incredibly convenient. My only minor gripe was with the entrance lock; it was a key code system, and the instructions on the paper were in a foreign language with several numbers listed, making it hard to figure out which code to use. I struggled to get in, and ultimately, I only managed because someone happened to come out from inside. This made me hesitant to go out at night, fearing I might not be able to get back in. On the positive side, the room, including the bathroom, was exceptionally clean, and I appreciated the provided slippers. What surprised me most was that soft drinks like Coke and Fanta Orange were complimentary, just like water. This was confirmed during check-in.
