New Generation Hostel Florence

The beds were reasonably clean, but there were no privacy curtains, so absolutely no private space. The bed design didn't match the pictures; there was no staircase-style bed ladder as shown. The toilet had enough toilet paper and was relatively clean, but there were no shelves at all, making it very inconvenient after showering. My locker was faulty; I couldn't lock it with the provided key, and even my own lock couldn't be used, which was a terrible experience. The garden was beautiful, and the historical atmosphere of the monastery was great. The location was excellent.

Excellent hostesses. Rooms are clean and cozy. Showers and toilets are also clean.

It was okay. But its proximity to Florence's main station is a huge plus. However, even for a guesthouse, I wish they'd given more thought to the mixed-gender dorms, especially the bed placement. On the bright side, breakfast was delicious and refills were a nice touch!

No blackout curtains. The door was very noisy. The air conditioning was powerful, but they only provided one sheet for a blanket, so it got quite cold.

The facilities are clean and the accommodation is beautiful. With the Arno River right in front, it's perfect for a stroll.

With this scorching weather, all I really needed was a powerful air conditioner in a spacious room, so coming back here to cool down was just perfect.
