Shelari-gu Hotspring Hotel

We brought our kids to the hotel for a hot spring and water play. There's also a playground and animals, which is great – very comprehensive! The breakfast was abundant, and the 'Valley of Never Night' experience was also very good. The service was excellent. Two days weren't enough to enjoy everything!

I made a last-minute decision to visit Xilegu, and it was my first time there despite it being open for so many years. The experience was great! The lobby even has a children's play area, so I can bring the kids next time.

Taking advantage of the last week of summer, we came to Qingyuan Shilong Hot Spring Resort. There are dozens of hot spring pools, so many that you can't even try them all. It was a great experience bringing the kids here. Each pool has its own unique features, and after soaking in the hot springs, I felt completely relaxed.

This is our top choice for a family-friendly hot spring hotel when traveling with kids, and it truly exceeded our expectations! The hotel's overall environment is clean and elegant, and the hot spring area is thoughtfully divided. There are shallow pools suitable for children and a constant-temperature play area, where the water is mild and gentle, keeping the kids entertained. The rooms are spacious and bright, the bedding is soft, and they even provide children's toiletries and a small toy gift package – the attention to detail is evident everywhere. The food is light and palatable, with a dedicated children's menu. The staff are warm and meticulous, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Relaxing in the room after a hot spring soak creates a wonderful ambiance. It's a fantastic option for hands-free parenting, and we'll definitely be back for our next family trip!

We chose Xilegu for our weekend getaway and the overall experience was excellent✨. The room was clean, the private hot spring was convenient, both the amusement park and the public hot springs were great, and the service was attentive. It's perfect for a family trip with kids, and we'll definitely come back again!

Overall, it's pretty good, very suitable for family trips. Besides the crowds, everything else was perfect during the summer vacation. The kids had a blast, and the rooms are well-maintained, not feeling old at all. I'd seen some reviews saying the food at 'Buye ShanGu' (Nightless Valley) was just average, but I think the value for money was excellent. At the very least, they had all the essentials, and the ingredients were quite fresh.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were warm and friendly. The facilities were excellent and truly perfect for children to play. They played from day to night, non-stop, and didn't want to leave!

This is the worst villa I've ever stayed in. It's so poorly maintained, it looks like no one has lived there for ages. The yard is overgrown with weeds, and fallen leaves haven't been cleared. The facilities inside are incredibly run-down. It's the first time I've seen furniture made with iron frames – it's ridiculous for such a high-end tourist area! The mahjong table had trash on it, and the chairs were badly stained. I especially want to mention where the hairdryer was placed: a small square hole carved into the middle of the wardrobe, lined with red cloth, resembling an ancestral tablet in a mourning hall. Seeing it at night was incredibly unsettling, and it was pointed directly at the bed, making it hard to sleep all night! And the breakfast buffet was ridiculously bad, with very few choices and poor taste. Whether it was 98 or 118 yuan per person, it was garbage, not even worth 38 yuan, and completely inconsistent with a 4A-rated scenic spot! The complimentary roasted chicken was a rip-off; they charged a 20% service fee for it. The 'sleepless city' at night charges 180 yuan per person to enter, which is such a scam – those planning to go should be cautious. Other facilities are also backward and poorly managed, with many shops closed and those that are open looking unhygienic. This 2-day, 1-night family trip, costing 3355 yuan, was an absolute disaster. The value for money is terrible. Definitely do NOT choose the villa; maybe the hotel rooms are slightly better! Overall, for this price, you'd have a much better experience choosing Forest Sea or Imperial Hot Spring. I won't be going back next time!
