Dreamlike accommodations with a breathtaking view. The food in the restaurant is excellent, very diverse, and truly perfect. Everyone in the service team is incredibly friendly. Rafaela from the spa area gave me an unbelievably good, relaxing, and energizing massage. Rafaela is exceptional!! You just can’t get enough. Great location, great people. Just returned from week here in one of the seaview suites. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Staff, food, drinks, atmosphere, views, all first class. This is the first time my wife and I have tried all inclusive and it certainly didn’t let us down. I would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you for making our week away very special.

This was my first solo trip. This resort is truly special. Amazing facilities, rooms I had a full sea view, food, drinks and the staff really make this place. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so friendly and attentive. Truly 5 star!

Had an amazing time at the Seaside Resort. From arriving, to being driven to reception and baggage delivered to the room by electric cart. Reception staff professional and very helpful explaining the facilities. We had a Loft Suite 527, which was a bit of a uphill walk (keep our steps up) but the room was amazing with shared pool and great views over the Aegean Sea. The room service was top notch and we didnt want for anything. On to the food WOW had a fantastic choice everyday and presented perfectly. The pastry chef deserves a massive 10/10 as his skills are second to none. The waitresses were amazing and very attentive, especially Eleftheria. Mara, Maria, Evi and the outstanding Ntina who I'm amazed isn't in a higher position with her attentiveness and knowledge. The Bar staff were amazing to watch with their knowledge of the cocktails. The pool bar tender Vasilis was always friendly and always smiling. The walks to the near beach and cliffs were a joy for the views and the walk to Agia Pelagia beach was well worth a visit. This is the best resort we have stayed in and would recommend to anyone.

Very pleasantly surprised with my stay for 7 nights at the hotel. All the staff were courteous friendly and went out of their way to be of assistance. Our room - superior seaview Rm 70 was a good size - had everything we needed. Hotel isn’t great for people with mobility issues - there are steps - quite a few between pools but it didn’t bother us. Food was excellent- I am a fussy eater and my wife only eats “ healthy food” - both of us were happy. 3 restaurants you can visit. Japanese fusion at the Umni - very good. Traditional Greek at the Minoan - very good. The Cretan and Sicilian fusion was by far the worst. Pools decent - comfortable loungers Bar service was good - should have staff taking orders - waiters. I actually like to queue and chat to people but the table service needs to be good. So I gave it 5 stars because we really enjoyed the week. Is it a 5 star hotel - nope. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and it could improve but at the end of the holiday we both loved it. That’s worth a 5

Arrived Monday. Weather atrocious . Cloud high winds, rain everyone sat inside in overcoats & jumpers. Obviously not the hotels fault, but there is nothing to do when the weather is bad. Facilities, I have stayed 5 star all inclusive in Maldives, Menorca, Antalya & Mexico and this is way below par. Have to pay for all premium liquors and the supposedly hot food either in the main buffet restaurant or the A La. Carte is luke warm,(perhaps a Cretian thing ?). Hotel is very remote with no where to go and if you get the wrong room you have a climb a steep hill which if you have mobility or respiratory problems could prove problematic. On the plus side the staff are great but really think the 5 star rating should be reviewed. Got another 3 days left but dreading every minute!

This was our first time at the hotel and visiting Crete and thoroughly enjoyed the week! The hotel service, rooms, food, housekeeping and al a carte dining was amazing! We especially enjoyed the Japanese restaurant called UMI and would recommend visiting all the Al a cartes when staying here. The room we had was very clean and had the most amazing view. Luckily the hotel is in a prime spot for views over the sea and sunset! We would not hesitate to come back here and highly recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Crete and Heraklion.
