B&B Il Cedro
"Availability, cleaning, good location all that needs for a holiday, thank you a thousand for everything"
Relais Metelli
"The hotel is located a stone throw away from the city center, in a short, beautiful residential street. It must have been a mansion before it is converted into a hotel. It sure feels homey. It is tastefully and beautifully decorated. The 24-hour receptionists are warm and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised as we were not expecting much. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here should we visit Umbria again."
Hotel & Resort le Colombare
"Should have listened to the reviews!! - AVOID this hotel On the surface it looks like this should be a good hotel. But it was an awful experience. It was hot in July and we wanted air conditioning for the night, the temperature never got below 25.6 degrees Celsius in the room and usually well over 26. They told me that it was too hot out to cool the rooms! (Strike 1 - they lied, their air conditioning just does not work, saw multiple other rooms with windows open or people outside their rooms) Couldn't really open the windows at night either because there are no screens on the windows so the mosquitos would have been bad. Cool off or get stung by mosquitos, not much of a choice. The second strike is the shower. We are used to small European showers, but this was a whole new level of small. Literally had to open the door to the shower to clean my whole body. And of course it leaked all over the bathroom floor. Strike three was that the refrigerator would not work. So much for a cool drink. This was less of an issue, but just added up on top of the other 2. Not that the rest of the room was anything special. Plenty of room, but it actually felt like it was missing furniture. The simple way to describe it is very very basic furniture and accommodations. So after going to the front desk to ask them to fix the air conditioning and getting the silly lie from them, we decided that it was bad enough and uncomfortable enough that we would NOT stay a second night like we had booked. Then came the "final nail in the coffin". First they said they could not give us a refund for the 2nd night because we booked through a 3rd party (another lie). Having experienced this before, I said I would contact the 3rd party and have them contact them. I then proceeded to contact them, they then contacted the hotel and asked them if they would give us a refund for the second night. Guess what their answer was? NO!! They never had any intention of granting a refund for the second night that we did not stay. Dishonorable businessmen as well. I understand that I booked a non-refundable reservation, but with that should come with them providing what they described on their website which they did not (no AC, no refrigerator). So really should have refunded us both nights, but at least the second night. So be forewarned, they are not nice accommodations and they are NOT nice people!"
Hotel Poledrini
"A great find. Perfectly located close enough to the station on a beautiful street. Close to the town centre too. Martina was a very good friendly receptionist who greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome. As early as we were she was able to find us a room. Great sized room, great bathroom, great breakfast. Would definitely recommend to stay here and base yourself for day trips to the great towns just a short train ride away including Perugia and Assisi. Definitely stay there. Will definitely be back."
City Hotel & Suites
"Work stay, good hotel with clean and modern rooms."
B&B La Dimora Di San Paolo
Guest House Foligno Porta Romana
"Perfect accommodation, perfect service."
Unahotels Villa dei Platani Foligno
"I booked a room at Villa dei Platani directly through their website. The confirmation email clearly stated the reservation was “awaiting payment” and would only be confirmed once the deposit was processed. Before any charge was made, I canceled the reservation in writing, well in advance. The hotel acknowledged my cancellation and instead offered a voucher, despite no formal booking confirmation ever being issued. Then, days later, they processed the full charge anyway. This was not an oversight—it was a deliberate and misleading act. When questioned, they refused to refund the amount and ignored follow-up communication. I’ve filed a dispute with my credit card provider and am sharing this to warn others. Be extremely cautious if booking directly. This is not the conduct of a professional or trustworthy operation."
