HTO15332 - Rudding Park

This was our first stay at the hotel. Overall the hotel and ground are stunning. We had a mixed experience with some inconsistencies over our stay. The food during our stay was very good the service inconsistent. Night one when we dined the staff stopped being attentive after last orders despite tables still eating, post dinner the bar service was non-existent with staff in suits walking past and ignoring us and other guests, one of which eventually complained. Spa was spotlessly clean Breakfast on day one was excellent, day two was average. It felt as though the focus of service was only on the wedding guests. The hotel has some much potential but we wouldn't rush back sadly.

My partner and I got married at Rudding Park in May 2025 and it was the best day ever! The process from viewing Rudding to then having our wedding there was easy. Having a coordinator like Sarah Coles to guide us through every step of the way definitely made the process easy and enjoyable! I could not recommend them enough as a wedding venue! Thank you :)

Came here for a me time break. And it was wonderful, def be going back sometime. Staff could not be more helpful or polite. I was greeted at the door and a gentleman took my bag in for me. The receptionist told me my room was ready (wasn't supposed to be for another 3hrs) was really pleased. Once I was escorted to my room, quickly changed and was off to the spa! There was hardly anyone there to start with and pretty much had most of the spa to myself which was brilliant. Got to really use the facilities with no over crowding. Of course later in the day it did start to get quite busy I also enjoyed a wonderful body massage my massuse was a lady named Emma. Really good and really worked on all my knots. There are some relaxtion rooms to sit in after the treatment which just relaxes you more. Cannot fault the room at all, and certainly cannot fault the food in the clocktower restaurant. Cannot fault the service either. Was a wonderful break and will def be going back. Little tip if you want to use the spa try to book as early as possible to really enjoy everything

The location is a beautiful large grounds with plenty of area to walk around and run if you’re into that! The room was absolutely unbelievable. Spotless, gorgeous, well decorated, huge! We had a terrace that overlooked to the spa and garden area. The bathroom was my favourite with a steam room in the shower and a huge bath with TV above - I felt like a queen and could have stayed in there all night! Atmosphere was great, the place is clearly busy and popular. The service was fantastic, the staff are so attentive to your every need - there is nothing they cannot do to help! The rooftop spa was outstanding, we had a 2 hour experience booked but could have spent a day up there! All the different rooms with the spa experiences in were fantastic. Truly cannot recommend this place enough and the staff do such an amazing job. Thank you to Sam, Lizzie, Julia and the team for looking after us. Insane! Same again next year?🥰

Cottage Was Brilliant May 2025 Went to Harrogate for an event so unfortunately limited time for us to use hotels facilities. We managed the outside hotel bar and a stroll through grounds both were very nice. We also went to restaurant 52 which was excellent but that’s a separate review. We used taxi to get in out Harrogate about 10 pounds one way. We stayed in 2 Bed Cottage near Holiday Park which was very big inside beautifully looked after and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed freedom of self catering but having access to on site facilities nearby. We had planned to use Spa but as we were busy going out each day made use of the outside hot tub instead. If you didn’t want to walk on site they offered a car to transport you but we enjoyed the short walk to hotel from grounds. Great stay felt there was a lot more for us to enjoy here so hope to return for some golf the spa and another visit to 52. But loved it.

We were absolutely delighted with the service from start to finish of our stay, every member of the team were exceptional. We were made to feel so welcome, we enjoyed a body polish in the spa which was as good as we’ve experienced. We ate in Horto’s whilst in the Spa and the Clocktower for dinner both were superb, service and food both high quality. Thank you to everyone for making our stay a very enjoyable one, special mention to Holly who ensured was brilliant.
