The complex is quite good, although I think the mid-Sept season helps, in summer there are surely a lot of families with children and for those looking for something quieter, especially in the pool area, it is not the most suitable. The rooms are quite good, almost new, the bed comfortable and although the bathroom had plumbing smells, the same day we mentioned it they fixed it. The location of the resort is perfect, as you need a car for almost everything in Menorca as it is well located, very close to Fornells, a very beautiful fishing village that is worth visiting at sunset and having something to eat in any of its restaurants in the port area. The Tirant beach, next to the resort, is also very good, the swim is great at sunset.

Where do we start we will start with 1 star far too much no electricity no WiFi no air con no lables on food to see what were eating poor hygine in pool hills around hotel to get into room hill and steps we stayed in c103 and when arrived at hotel we where given a map of where to go out of reception up a hill up another hill and down 50steps to room if your unstable on your feet or elderly avoid this place like a plague we had no electricity no WiFi no air-conditioning for almost 3nights and when room is blowing at 29.1'C that's air-conditioning on im an asthmatic and that's poor quality we paid for superior rooms to be told by the reps that superior rooms are non existence the zoo hadn't enough people to do excursion the water park closed after 10yrs no watermark due to it being on rustic ground so around the complex within 5km you have a very small supermarket which sells essentials kids blow ups for water a pizza place a restaurant called okapi which is the best on the island by far but back to this shebeen it's terrible everyone said same thing lastnight 06/07/25 Karen the jet 2 rep her hands are tied only so much she can do but could have been more helpful with communication moving forward safe to say thankfully we will not be coming back and today's our last day so on a short note if you want ripped off and kids bored off their rockers then folks this is the place for you this hotel is best suited to someone with no kids not elderly nor have any can't eat this issues it's been from start to no dreadful to say the least jet 2 we will be pushing this further.

We were pretty nervous leading up to our trip as the reviews were dreadful but we were really pleasantly suprised! We arrived at 2pm and reception gave us the option of waiting to check in there and then or goung and getting lunch first begins it shut at 2.30, which was appreciated. We had room K102, it's up a hill but if you walk along the road rather than up all the steps within the resort it's not a difficult walk (my lazy 4 year old managed it multiple times a day!). The room itself was basic but fine, the main bed was enormous and comfy but the sofa bed was pretty awful, you could feel springs everywhere and felt like you'd fall through it any moment! The room was always spotless after housekeeping came, no complaints here! There are several pool areas, the main one by the restaurant was the busiest and noisiest, then you had a small quiet one opposite and a larger quieter one behind that, which we loved. The food was pretty good, there was always a varied selection (reviews saying there were no options must be down to fussiness/wanting chips or pizza etc) of fresh fish and meat, tonnes of veg/side dishes, a salad bar, pasta bar, desert bar etc. Staff in the restaurant were super efficient, clearing plates and tables really quickly and always friendly and able to answer any questions. The staff in the pool bar were majorly understaffed but again, always friendly and happy to help. The kids club/entertainers were excellent, Goofy in particular is a true credit to the hotel and my son adored him. He checked in with guests throughout the day, remembered kids names etc, he was absolutely brilliant. The splashpark was excellent, it isn't huge but it was perfect for kids up to around 10 I'd say. The three bigger slides at the back were great fun and the lifeguards here were great. The beach next to the hotel was lovely, water was beautifully clear and you can walk over to the bigger beach very easily. Fornells was a 10 minute bus away and was very worth a visit! Overall we really enjoyed our stay! I don't think it's a 4 star hotel yet but with a few minor changes it definitely would be! My main areas of improvement would be; Replacing sofa beds - ours was awful Labeling food in the restaurants Having covers/fly guards on the food Drinks machines often stopped working or were turned off Nothing major but would make a big difference! The hotel is in a gorgeous location and looks beautiful, small changes would make this a 4 star

Our stay at Fergus Club Menorca was very disappointing and absolutely not what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. The biggest issue was the persistent sewage problem. Our first room had such a strong sewage smell that we couldn’t use the bathroom for the first three days — it was unbearable and made us feel sick. Reception told us they were fully booked so couldn’t move us. We had to sleep with all the windows open just to get through the nights. The smell wasn’t isolated to our room — walking from the apartment to the restaurant, the same awful smell lingered. Staff blamed it on the wind, but it’s clearly a resort-wide drainage issue. The most disturbing moment was when we were at the smaller beach to the right of the hotel. A rush of sewage water came directly from the hotel grounds behind the trees and flowed into the sea. The smell was horrendous and the lifeguard had to close the beach. It was disgusting and deeply concerning. Cleanliness overall was poor. Flies were everywhere, even in the food hall where they landed directly on the food. Plates were dirty on both sides, and the high chairs for children were sticky and unclean. Food quality was low and became very repetitive. There’s only one restaurant, which gets overcrowded, and the kids’ section served nothing but burgers, hot dogs, and chips every single day. There was no consideration for guests with food allergies — no gluten-free or dairy-free section, and no clear allergen labelling. Despite the booking saying there would be tea and coffee facilities in the room, there was no kettle unless we paid €10 plus a €10 deposit. Even basic things like that came with hidden charges. You also had to pay deposits for towels and mini golf, which felt petty. There’s only one bar open at any time, which is nowhere near enough for a resort this size. Add to that the steep hills all around the site, and it’s not a good option for families with young children or anyone with mobility concerns.

Just got back from a week long stay with our two daughters (2 & 8). Initially I was absolutely dreading this much needed holiday after reading reviews over the past few months but can honestly say whilst there are areas the hotel needs to improve on it was fine and we had a great week. Room We had a room with a sea view I201 which was perfectly located opposite the splash park and central to the resort. We got incredibly lucky with our location, it is a hilly hotel but it’s the north coast of Menorca! This said, I can sympathise with other reviewers as some of the accommodation blocks are up very steep areas with lots of steps so would be tiring if not impossible for anyone with mobility issues and a nightmare for mums with prams to drag up and down each day. Our room was modern & clean. Towels and bedding were changed most days. The main bed was very comfortable. The sofa bed was comfortable but you could occasionally feel the mental bars running across. Ok for children but no so much adults. We had read previously about there being no kettle provided so we brought our own. Some basic cutlery, plates, bowls needed really, found it odd to have a kitchenette but nothing provided. The balcony provided amazing sea views and incredible sunsets. Pools Pools were good, some of sun loungers are very tired and need updating. The hotel needs more sun loungers around all of pools. We did manage to get beds everyday at different times. The splash park has a lot of loose tiles, my toddler actually made this into a game of collecting the tiles and bringing them back to me. Having read reviews about children cutting their feet we made sure ours had pool shoes on. The hotel does need to do some maintenance mainly to the splash park, loose tiles and cracked uneven area around the pool. It looks tired. Food. The thing that struck me most was the buffet restaurant isn’t large enough to accommodate the number of guests at the hotel. Often extremely busy and noisy. Breakfast was good. Lunch & dinner were repetitive with pork & fish as the main options served everyday. We tended to eat out at beach bars for lunch and again for dinner as we enjoy our evenings out and for me the buffet is styled to be very in and out so we probably didn’t get value for money on the all inclusive. The staff worked incredibly hard. Entertainment. Goofy was wonderful what an asset to the hotel. Apart from one evening we could never get seats for the evening entertainment, again the hotel needs more. Bars. Bars that were open were good. We never had to queue for too long. We noticed there are other bars (one by the beach and another under the splash park) that weren’t open, the hotel really needs to get these up and running to give guests other areas to grab a drink and relieve the pressures on the bar that is open. Overall, we had a lovely week although I do agree with others this is 3* not a 4* hotel.

Where do I start, generally it takes alot for me to leave a review but on this occasion I felt the need to warn people. The hotel itself is 3 star at the very best, it needs updating badly, the beds are the worse ive slept on, there is no coffee machine in room, the hike up and down steps pretty much everywhere you go is exhausting to say the least. The food is box standard and mostly luke warm.. Wine is terrible, beer not far behind and the beach is not great... Basically avoid at all costs and go somewhere else... Worse holiday ive been on, coupled with the terrible windy cloudy weather its one I want to forget!!👍

I would recommend looking at a private taxi we booked this via Jet2. Reception was nice , very helpful . Check in took a little while as you have to fill some details in which, there were 5 of us. Pool area is nice , slides are good . The water park side of the hotel is on a different level to the main pool . Rooms are ok , they never changed the bedding just made them. Floor was never cleaned with a mop , just brushed . You are left with a complimentary bottle of water . There are plenty of places to fill this back up . Bars will fill up any water bottles for you . Restaurant is very average, only got if you as soon as it opens . There’s a few restaurants around for you to go to . You did need to reserve your beds , they didn’t get taken off by the staff. Don’t waste your money on inflatables you can’t use them in the pools . Plus the brown shed had loads in there ! We had a great time , just wouldn’t go again . Staff did make us aware that it had only been taken over and they know it needs improvements.

Ok for those worried about the reviews we are having a great time. Yes it's hilly but you are in beautiful mountains air conditioning is working fine and the beach is on your doorstep it's a quite small place if you venture out of resort food hall is busy but perfectly fine with a choice for everyone . The bad reviews really spoilt the build up to are holiday but glad we didn't cancel .
