Balcony view of the lake, modern room with walk in shower, elevator, free on-site carpark, not far to the north-south autobahn for overnight on a long commute. Reception staff readily helped translate the dinner menu as the waitress only spoke German. Home made jams at breakfast. Outside terrace for drinks or meals in fine weather. There was nothing to not like. The unremarkable but pleasant village of Forst has an excellent baker-pastrycook where we had coffee and cake and bought lunch for our travels.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön modern tolle Aussicht auf den See sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück reichhaltig hat für jeden was. Leider liess die Leistung am Abend zu wünschen übrig. 50 Minuten warten aufs Essen. Die Vorspeise wurde vergessen das Fleisch zäh. Das offerierte Dessert wegen dem Lapsus betreffend der Vorspeise wurde einfach aus dem Tiefkühler genommen etwas Schlagsahne dazu und hart wie ein Stein lieblos hingestellt. Sehr enttäuschend

Das Seehotel hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt, insbesondere hervorheben möchten wir die Freundlichkeit in der Gastronomie sowohl beim Abendessen als auch beim Frühstück. Das Doppelzimmer war prima, das Badezimmer modern mit einer ebenerdigen Dusche und einem riesigen Duravit-Waschbecken ausgestattet, dazu gab es flauschige dicke Handtücher, alles bestens. Bei der Buchung bzw. bei Bezug des Zimmers empfehle ich, darauf zu achten, dass man ein Zimmer mit Balkon in den oberen Etagen mit Seeblick erhalt, unser Zimmer 103 lag ebenerdig mit einer Terrasse und nur eingeschränkten Seeblick und direkt in der Nähe des hauseigenen Biergartens, das wäre bei entsprechenden Wetter laut geworden.
