La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fort Lauderdale Tamarac

The service and food was ok. Due to bad weather our flight was delayed. The front desk staff told us that if we don't check in before midnight, we will get charged and our reservation will be cancelled.

Room had a smell to it. Looked like it was mopped with a broom that wasn’t cleaned in some time. The wifi wasn’t working in the room , and ofcourse i found out the bath soap didn’t have anything in it at the time of shower. This things should have been taken care by the staff before alloting the room

A nice no stress experience. I appreciate the helpful and friendly team---front desk, housekeeping, dining, everyone was accommodating.

As For my own personal experience, I didn't like the location. I didn't like the smell when I walked into the lobby. The customer service was awful. I stood there for about 25 minutes waiting for the desk clerk to finish her conversation with another female that just kept rambling on for about 20 minutes. Then, the female that was rambling, move to the side. So another customer that was in front of me, could check in then, when he was finished, she moved right back in the same position and they went right back to talking for another fifteen minutes. The front desk looked so crowded and discombobulated with numerous amounts of mail packages I just wanted to get away from there. I asked to cancel and went to laquinta on Cyprus, which was extremely 100%. Better in all aspects.

Room was dirty smelly bed sheets were old. Pillows were lumpy. Very very very disappointed in the property and especially the room. There were bed bugs in the bed. Complained to the staff. She said all the rooms were the same. We couldn’t sleep. We changed the room. The other room was equally bad. We stayed at other hotels and Laquita as well. This was the worst room, we ever had. You should actually get our money back for us

This is a great hotel when it comes to quality and staff experience. It’s clean and smells great.. at a more affordable price than many others…nice & peaceful and close to everything.

The rooms are due for an upgrade. I had challenged with the room door and also, had to get my room key re-programmed three times. The king bed seems to be a queen size, also the mattress needs to be change. The male staff with the dreadlocks need a customer relation training immediately. I was making an inquiry and he was having lunch. I was told I had to wait while he has his lunch. While I appreciate being safe, the security guard posted by the entrance door at night gives the impression that the hotel is not safe. I recommend that a booth be set up on the outside the hotel for the security.

The staff were very helpful and amazing. The breakfast was good and needs to add more stuff and the room and the hotel needs to be upgrade. But other than that I had a good time

This place was a dump mold infested front lobby was dirty people hanging out all over the place I refused to to stay there and left lost money in this dump but safety 1st booked at comfort inn payed cheaper but cleaner and safer i do not recommend anybody to stay at this La Quinta just out right horrible trying to get total refund pictures on website is totally deceiving would rather sleep in my suv that’s how bad it is….
