Wish I had stayed at my original choice, Hilton Beach Resort. Here we go: 1) upon check in told they don't have the room (I reserved months in ADVANCE -thru Marriot BTW) available so giving you another. I ask does have inter coastal view and fridge? Yes ok, no explanation, no apology-nothing. 2) Room dated and has seen better days, headboard filthy, furniture banged up, oh and this “other” room I was rudely assigned was smaller than my original reserved room 3) the breakfast was nothing special, at all. Now the WORST part-our last night we were going to take the evening water taxi 1 last time and enjoy the nighttime cruise BUT- 4) around 6:30ish pm, an alarm and recorded voice came on warning us to evacuate the hotel, DO NOT use the elevator, exit by via the stairwell. Fresh from the shower I throw on some shorts and a t-shirt. So we schlep down the stairs, from the 8th floor, out to the front of the place. People standing around, no one from the hotel any where. This goes on for 15 minutes, still nobody and no fire engines, no police-zero, nada, nothing. We go back into the lobby to find out what is going on-people mulling around, front desk clerk just sitting there like noting is going on (same dude who reassigned me anther room). A woman goes up to this guy and says, “what is going on, what’s the problem?” She is told “their people” checked it out and there is no problem. Waiting for fire fighters to come and turn off the alarm and warning. Yes it was still going off and the warning still blaring. We go into the bar-full of patrons-and ask the bartender, does she know anything, as she works here. Nope she was told nothing and is overwhelmed. We go out to the little patio and figure great our last night is ruined, no cruise, no dinner. The sweet bartender comes out and asks if we’d like a drink, sure. She brings out our drinks and we chat. She was the only highlight of this place. Didn’t get her name but she’s from Maine. Thank you darling-you were wonderful! Suddenly she says, ‘WAIT I DON’T HEAR IT ANY MORE.” And just like that it’s over. Not 1 person from the hotel acknowledged the incident OR communicated that it’s okay to go back to our rooms-again ZERO. So we take the elevator back up to our room. I assumed it was ok. So it’s around 7:45 ish, since our dinner reservations were ruined we take our last night’s left over to microwave them to eat. Guess what? Yep microwave doesn’t work. Go down to the bar/breakfast are to use that micro. Same sweet bartender asks if she can help us, as the breakfast area was closed off. She kindly warmed up the left overs. I thought for sure they’d make phone calls or check on guests and explain! NOPE, again a big fat. ZERO, nada, nothing, no communication. So recap-rudely assigned different room than reserved thru Marriot website-with no explanation, room very worn, micro not in working condition, and an emergency (I assume, because no one EVER explained what happened) that c

Although the hotel was under construction in some of the areas, we enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Palace. We upgraded our room to the honeymoon suite with a jacuzzi in the spacious room which also included a tub bathroom. The resturant food was above average and the staff was pleasant and very helpful. We were 3 minutes from the beach and saw the sunrise on sunday morning. We certainly plan to return and try for an even better upgrade if possible!

This hotel was a joke. It already started when checking into the hotel. I did book 2 rooms over booking.com and already paid in advance so the only job for the front desk was to hand over the keys and inform us about the 200$ deposit for each room - annoying that such things aren’t communicated previous but still not the worst thing. The receptionist was that incompetent that she was not able to collect the money from booking.com. She kept telling us we only had paid for one room and the second one was not paid for yet and we had to talk to booking.com to clear up that issue. Complete nonsense we kept arguing for over half an hour and showing her our credit card recipes and she was 1st unable to retrieve the money from booking and second absolutely rude and not helping. She did not manage to provide us with any receipts and when we askd if we can just take a picture of the sheet we had signet where it stated that at least the 1st room was paid fore (after she was not able to print out a reciept) her college just kept shouting “thats the property of the hotel”. rude dude. Non of the personal there was helpful - i dont want to say any names because i don’t want them to loos there job but stay the hell away from them. So we had to pay for the second room again and I immediately called booking.com. I got to a really helpful girl and she confirmed that everything was paid for and ok from my side - then she called the hotel - after she got back to me she informed me that she talked “to someone who was really familiar with the problem but didn’t want to state their name to her” - like a coward - if you make a mistake stand up to it! Well the nice girl from booking.com did also tell me she had to “lecture the front desk” of the hotel on how to collect money from booking.com - such a joke as if it was not their job to do such things every single day. At that point i was so pissed at the hotel that i would have left if i had not invested that much money! (way to much if you ask me for what they are providing - totally overpriced) Later the girl who messed up at the front desk did inform us she had canceled the extra charge on our credit card - we will see if she did otherwise we will definitely take some legal steps. That was just the start of the stay … we thought we will stay in a nice 4* Hotel like they advertised on booking.com - hahaha such a joke…. On google it is only classified as a 3* hotel so big lie there. The beach is unusable due to huge amounts of sea**** - impossible to swim because they do not even properly clean the beach. The chairs at the pool are free to use but the sound of the air conditioning is so loud that you can not hear the ocean … not what i am hear for - same goes for the balcony (+ plus nice side note that the air conditioning blows right onto your balcony making sitting out there impossible. For the beach you either have to bring your own beach chairs or rent one chair for 15$ plus a umbrella for another 20$ per day. They al

I had a bad experience at another local hotel I was supposed to stay at and booked a room here last minute. It didn't look like much from the outside and I didn't expect much. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was! It was clean, spacious, with a small kitchenette, ample storage, and an average bathroom. The staff was professional and helpful. I hate to be nickeled & dimed and my only complaint was the $9. parking fee. The place I booked with didn't include that there was a fee, but in fairness to the hotel, their site does mention it. I do have to say the area looked a bit shady at night...?

My best friend and I spent 5 nights here for a Transformational Breath seminar, which was just a few minutes' drive from here. The location was great with many restaurants nearby. The check-in experience was easy, the building was clean and felt safe, and the room was clean and nice. We had a kitchenette, which had a two-stove top burner, sink, and small but roomy fridge. They provided some dishes, pots, utensils, a new sponge and dish soap, which would have been nice to know in advance, so I'm including it here :) We were able to have breakfast and lunch in the room with our little table. The beds were very comfortable! There was a nice little pool area that we didn't get to enjoy. The room was clean, the shower was strong. I would highly recommend staying here! We stayed Sun and left Friday, and experienced no partying sounds or noise through the week.

This hotel has the best, most friendly staff. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Kelsey at the front desk has been wonderful. She goes above and beyond to help with anything. The pool is very nice and a great temperature to enjoy. The breakfast at the bistro was excellent and the staff there so friendly. They have a free shuttle that will take you anywhere within 3 miles. Super convenient. Loving our stay here for a week.
