The Thousand Laterns Lake Hotel Reviews

The hotel is decent, located right by Qiandeng Lake, within walking distance, making it convenient for enjoying the night view. However, the hotel is quite old with outdated facilities. On the bright side, the in-room minibar is excellent, stocked with tons of drinks and mineral water! They're very generous, and there are also various tea bags and snacks. As for breakfast, the variety is quite rich, with live cooking stations where you can get freshly made rice noodles and Guilin rice noodles.

The room was spacious, and the service was good. The breakfast spread was excellent and very generous. Plus, it's right next to Qiandeng Lake, offering beautiful views!

The facilities are good, but the decor is a bit dated. Service was fine and the hygiene was also good. I'd stay here again if I have the chance.

Nearby don't have food stall... Next to talk didi for food. But nearby famous thousand lantern garden...

Had a fantastic stay here! The place was spotless and super clean. It's really close to Qiandeng Lake, which was perfect for sightseeing. The location overall was very convenient. Service: The staff were great, and the front desk even upgraded my room! („• ֊ •„)੭

1. After checking in, the room entrance was covered in muddy footprints, and the toilet had urine stains. We notified the front desk, but no one came to clean it for half a day. We approached the front desk again, and someone came a few minutes later, eventually moving us to a different room. 2. The hotel has its own booking platform, which offers breakfast for the same price. I asked if we could get breakfast since we booked through Ctrip, but they said no. After I complained, Ctrip customer service resolved the issue. 3. Qiandeng Lake is great, but this hotel is terrible. 4. Facilities: The security guard at the ground parking lot was both impatient and unprofessional. We wanted to park above ground, but he told us to park underground. We asked if there were no parking spots above ground, and he just told us to drive around, standing there. He could have easily helped us a little! Minibar: Mineral water is free.

Bad review. It wasn't even 11 AM yet when the cleaning staff just opened my door to clean, which really startled me. After I complained, they opened the door again. My toothbrush and other toiletries were gone. When I called the front desk, they just said it was a misunderstanding, no apology or anything. Oh, and the cleaner's name was Yin [some character] Xia.

I've stayed at this hotel several times and have always enjoyed it, so I was surprised and disappointed when a staff member recently ruined my experience. Thankfully the manager intervened and promptly moved me to the room I had originally requested. The hotel is in an excellent location and, aside from that incident, remains a great choice for visitors.

The box meal looks good and tasty except the last day meal empty bowl without soup!

The location is perfect, near the lake, malls etc. It's super quiet and everything is smooth. I even got a free room upgraded. Definitely recommended to stay here, the room super lovely and modern.

Everything great. Good location next to the lake park. Air con good. Gym very well-equipped. Unlimited water bottles provided. Breakfast good.

Clean swimming pool and gym.  Breakfast buffet is delicious.
