Fairfield by Marriott Xinkai Plaza

The entrance to the underground parking garage was a bit hard to find; my navigation system took me on a long detour. Parking was quite tight because many hotels share the same lot, and the commercial area is always busy. The Fairfield by Marriott has its own dedicated elevators. The male receptionist on the first floor was calm and efficient; he upgraded my room without me even asking, giving me an excellent view, and also provided a tourism guide for Taishan, which was very thoughtful – truly Marriott-quality service. The room itself was, as expected, impeccable. However, the floor wasn't cleaned the next day, and there were some hairs. I stayed for three nights, and it was convenient having a supermarket in the commercial area. For breakfast, I loved the ginger pork trotters; the service was great, and the breakfast selection varied, with many healthy tea options that I enjoyed.

This hotel is under the Marriott brand, which pretty much says it all, doesn't it? I've booked it many times before. I'm leaving another review for the points! The rooms are clean, the transportation is convenient, and everything you need is nearby.

The location is convenient, with Xinkai Plaza and Wanda Plaza nearby, making dining and entertainment easily accessible. I always stay here when I come to Foshan; this is my nth visit. However, you often have to wait to use the laundry facilities, and breakfast can get quite crowded.

The toilet is completely exposed; there's no door, and it faces a large full-length mirror. The long vanity blocks half of the walkway, I really don't understand the design. The sofa is a bit worn, and the armrests are also worn with sharp corners. The hotel clearly doesn't consider safety hazards at all.

The hotel's location on the map is inaccurate; I recommend updating it. Overall, it's still good, and its biggest advantage is the location. Wanda Plaza is right downstairs, offering shopping, entertainment, and dining all in one place.
