Aomori Hotel (Foshan Shunde Qinghui Garden Resort · OCT Harbour PLUS Branch)

This is the worst hotel we've experienced. We showered in a pool of water and soap scums because there seems to be a severe drainage issue in our room. The shower screen is also poorly designed in that it is mounted outside the shower-base meaning water splash is also flooding the toilet floor. We have great safety concerns as we could slip and fall. We requested a room change with reception staff, they sent us a message via Trip.com to say they could switch us to another room, we missed it coz we don't have a local mobile number. No attempts made to call our room or a knock on our room. By the time we saw their message, they said they are fully booked. Poor form!. Location-wised, it is quit far away from City centre. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and the ride to qinhui garden takes around 15mins. The hotel is quite run-down and the hygiene is questionable. There are no complimentary tea/coffee/snacks at front desk. .

Good experience , tidy room. One minus - all room numbers in characters, better to ask reception to take you there if you can’t read Chinese. But decent hotel
