Hotel Continental Frankfurt Reviews

Very convenience location, just few strips away from Frankfurt main station. The reception is very friendly and helpful. An old building with big spaces room.

Old hotel but bedroom and bathroom is renovated, not bad. Wifi is very bad and frequently out of service. The area around the hotel is shady, noisy, chaotic, and feels unsafe with beggars, drunkards, petty fights and random shouting/yelling.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to the train station and many shops and restaurants just around the corner. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but they have a balcony which makes up for it. The breakfast is a selection of breads with cold meats, cheese and spreads. There is also cereal and yogurt for those trying to cut the carbs. Overall, it was a good stay.

Hotel is across the road from Frankfurt Hbf. Breakfast choice okay, not much hot. Served from 0630.

Extremely spartan and noisy. Close to the main road and the cars and horns keep you up practically all night unless you sleep like a log. Only spent one night here and left to a nearby hotel instead. Location is excellent though, walking distance to food, the main train station.

Overall is. Very good location hotel for business travel purpose as it’s beside the Frankfurt Main station. A bit off point for me as my room is at the station side which it’s very noisy and can’t have a proper sleep for my 4 nights stay. Requested to change the room but the hotel refused to do so as mentioned room is perfect to stay. This is because need to open the window let the cool air come into the room, so forced to bear with the noise🙂↕️

1) It’s not easy to open the door. Not only I but also other guests have a same trouble because of old key locks. 2) The elevator doesn’t work properly, so I have to walk  stairs.

Mood everywhere in the shower. Needs new sealant. Very noisy in the corner rooms from the local bars and traffic. Bossman not very accommodating to give local room despite request 2 months prior. Other staff nice and tried to be helpful. Would I stay again no. Location was excellent. Cracked and loose tiles in bathroom. Grouting missing. Just a bit scruffy. You get what you pay for as was cheap!

Price klasse

The room was decent for the price. My main complaint was the absence of air conditioning; being west-facing, it got direct sun and remained uncomfortably hot until well after 9 PM. That being said, it's quite convenient for independent travelers exploring Europe by train.

Requested a kettle from front desk 2x when not busy, but was blown off. Day 2 I requested one from housekeeping and received it. Yay as I had a cold!

The good thing about this hotel is the location, as it's centrally located and near the central train station. The room comes with breakfast as well. It's value for money. However, we feel that the hotel is really old and the cleanliness is questionable. The bathroom curtain looks old and has yellow stains. We also do not want to use their towels during our stay. It's probably time to do a renovation for this hotel.
