We have stayed at Brewster House multiple times while visiting our Bowdoin sophomore, and it is consistently exceptional. Dave and Kelleigh are wonderful hosts who make every stay feel personal. Dave prepares an awesome three-course gourmet breakfast each morning. One of the best parts is that they happily welcome Bowdoin students to join their families for breakfast when visiting. It’s a really special touch. The property is spotless and beautifully maintained, with rooms that feel more like a boutique hotel than a typical B&B. Amenities include a 24/7 honor bar with Maine craft beer and wine, plus a fantastic sauna + cold plunge in the backyard retreat. The location is ideal—only minutes from Bowdoin and right in the heart of Freeport, close to seafood restaurants, shops, and the L.L. Bean flagship store. For Bowdoin parents, it’s the perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and convenience. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for our anniversary and this is by far the best place we have stayed. The food here was phenomenal. The innkeepers were so nice and had great recommendations on places to go in the area. The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone. I’m sure we will be back if we are in the area.

We loved everything about our stay at the Brewster House. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. We were just a short walk into town and could easily get to the restaurants and shops. Our favorite part was breakfast each morning. It was a wonderful dining experience and would highly recommend. We look forward to the day we can visit again!

A wonderful stay at the Brewster House B&B for our 25th wedding anniversary! Kelleigh could not have been more welcoming, friendly and simply the best host, helping with a few extras to surprise my wife upon arrival! She was completely dedicated to making our visit a special one! The Inn was cozy and our room was perfect, with a fireplace and the most comfortable bed. Our late afternoon time spent in their OUTDOOR oasis, Dryppe, in the glass-front sauna, cold plunge and sitting by the fire, was so relaxing, so completely enjoyable, as we watched the gorgeous sun setting through the trees as an autumn chill rolled in. Our gourmet breakfast, cooked up by chef Dave accompanied by our own pot of French-pressed coffee, was a delicious but bitter-sweet start to our return home and reality! Although we were staying only one night, Kelleigh and Dave made us feel like family the moment we walked in the door. It was a very comfortable, albeit short stay. Dave is truly a culinary artist and our breakfast was excellent. It was also quite enjoyable sharing fishing stories with Dave.

We were drawn to The Brewster House Inn after reading about their included 3 course gourmet breakfasts. We were not disappointed! Dave is an amazing chef and all our breakfasts were plated beautifully and absolutely delicious! Kelly was so warm and friendly, and we felt like family. The beds were so comfortable, and we ordered the sheets for our home. The parlor with fireplace on the guest floor was inviting, and there was even wine and beer on tap! The Brewster House location was perfect for forays to the Freeport shops, and it was nice to be able to walk to restaurants, too. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else now - Kelly & Dave spoiled us!

Our stay at this lovely bed and breakfast was outstanding! The house is charming, the beds were comfortable, and the hosts were friendly and ready with helpful suggestions. The 3 course breakfasts served each morning were delicious and expertly prepared. The thoughtful extras-plush robes, cozy slippers, and beer and wine on tap, really set this B&B apart. All this, combined with convenient location, made for a truly memorable stay. We highly recommend it!

The Brewster House is a lovely venue to stay with absolutely wonderful 3 course breakfasts. The couple that runs the B&B is delightful, and are extremely accommodating.
