Mamba Point Hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay in a tastefully furnished room wich was fully equipped to meet our needs. Tea/coffee facilities with bottles of fresh water and clean towels provided daily. The receptionist was always polite and helped us to exchange money and arranged for a reliable driver to pick us up and show us the main points of interest. All staff were very welcoming including the porter and security staff

The staff are always really polite, profesional and willing to chat. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Shower is brilliant.

The place was amazing. Beautuful view of the waters. Absolutly amazing menu, seafood to chicken, featuring a lot of Lebanese couisine and creative food as well. The front desk staff were tremendous. I had been denied boarding on a Sunday flight so I returned to mainland and found Mamba Point. So glad for that.

It’s was great place to stay and the staff was amazing and very helpful whenever you need them. I will definitely stay there again in the future.

The customer service here is miles apart from the rest. It is the 5th or 6th hotel that I have stayed in inside the capital city Freetown since 2018. I was actually visiting to write a review for a different audience but was impressed enough to leave a review here too. To Mr KHALID, the hotel manager! You and your staff make the place what it is, from great personable service to a few ‘extras’ around when called upon to do so such as arranging express transportation within Freetown. It was nice to meet Siddiki and Janet. Must give special mention to the staff in the kitchen who called my room one morning when late for breakfast before they packed it all away and they can help you choose a sunny spot on the terrace too. It is a boutique hotel, not a large noisy place as in bigger hotels - you get a clean and quiet lobby area, a reasonable breakfast selection and delicious omelettes, very nicely-appointed rooms and washrooms and the nearby LAGOONDA nightclub is thrown in for free every club night (entry usually $20), as they’re connected. What’s not to love? I have also been to the LAGOONDA restaurant and ordered grilled fish which was ace - yum! - but that will be another review. What would I like to see change? - to have an area reserved for smoking away from the pool edge to give equal access to non-smokers - I once observed another guest who was sunbathing leave the pool area when another guest started smoking close to them…hey, let’s face it, if it was not possible to avoid smokers it could limit the enjoyment by all guests of the pool area and negatively impact the holiday mood.

Loved my time here! Clean room, nice amenities, and amazing staff and management. Incredibly accommodating working with me to make my stay a success - way more than they had to with issues with a late ferry and a full house. Will always come back here on my trips to Freetown in the future, thank you!
