Very welcoming, friendly, kind and helpful staff at this hotel. Checked in earlier than the allotted time without any requests, just clarified that the room is ready and welcome. Breakfast buffet, cozy rooms, very clean, has everything you need, the hotel is located in the city center. You can get from Munich airport in 16 minutes, the bus runs every 10 minutes, which is very convenient.

My favorite place to end my visits to Germany. Close to Munich airport for early morning flights. Right on the main street of Freising with lots of shopping and dining. Weihenstephan Biergarten a lovely walk from town through their gardens overlooking town. All rooms spacious, clean and modern. AC available, which is nice in summer. Excellent buffet breakfast with early 6am start. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking on-site but there is a small fee. Elevator available. Will continue to stay.

We stayed in Freising because it was a short bus ride to the Munich airport and we had already spent time in Munich. The hotel and location were perfect. We arrived around 2 pm, our room was ready, and the gentleman that checked us in gave us great restaurant recommendations. We shopped and ate along the street right in front of the hotel. It was a fabulous day. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good.

We had two rooms for 7 days during EURO 2024. I am not happy with hotel conditions very old . Check in took me almost one hour unorganized. Check out not train lady with zero experience. Ac in the room poor . Bar doesn’t have enough people working . This hotel max can have 3 star.

I don’t remember if I’ve previously submitted a review, so I’m forwarding one again now. My room was quite small and dark, despite it being classified as a deluxe room. In room dining phone order was unprofessional and poor communication. The reception team were not overly friendly and always too busy. The concierge team were much better. The hotel lobby felt like Grand Central station and I didn’t feel I was getting personalized service. The rooftop breakfast was very good as well as the pool. I would, however, probably not return to stay as there are many other 5 star hotels in Munich which are smaller and provide a higher level of individualised service.

The Hotel Bayerischer Hof is located in the heart of the beautiful historic town of Freising. You reach the "Dom" one of famous landmarks within a few minutes walking distance. We are also close to a famous brewery where it´s worth drinking a beer and enjoying a beautiful view to the mountains. The station in Freising is also only 10 minutes walking distance away from the hotel and the City Center of Munich can be reached by train in 30 minutes. For guests arriving per airplane it only takes a 20 minutes ride to Freising. Parking is possible in our own parking area. we have 71 rooms and the authentic Bavarian flair can be felt in the family-run hotel. Due to our proximity to the airport, it also a great opportunity to spend here a last night before flying back home after a great holiday or successful business trip.
