B&B Hotel Frejus Puget-Sur-Argens
7.5 (44 reviews)

B&B Hotel Frejus Puget-Sur-Argens ★★★

📍 1078 DN7, Frejus

"I reserved and canceled a room in 48 hours, 5 days before the stay, for professional reasons. I was still charged the entire reservation. I explained my case by telephone and email to Booking, the hotel and the chain, asking to make an exception. Only Booking responded to me saying there was nothing they could do. The hotel in Puget sur Argens and B&B did not even deign to respond. They took the money and are satisfied with it. €223 for 48 hours of reservation without any form of attempt to understand my case, this is unacceptable, revolting and a disastrous concept of service. I strongly advise against it."

Zenitude Hôtel-Résidences Frejus la Tour de Mare

Zenitude Hôtel-Résidences Frejus la Tour de Mare ★★★★

📍 566 Via Aurélia, Frejus

"The room was big, 2 balconies, 2 bedrooms, big bathroom, free parking, kitchen with dishwasher, we were just passing through and stayed for one night, it was very nice. Beautiful gardens and a swimming pool."

Ibis Styles Fréjus Saint-Raphaël
8.4 (63 reviews)

Ibis Styles Fréjus Saint-Raphaël ★★★

📍 990 Av. du 8 Mai 1945, Frejus

"The rooms are too small. The view of the road and the green fields beyond are actually pleasant. The reception staff and restaurant are wonderful. Breakfast was nice and varied. The decorations are candy themed which was different but pleasant! We were given room 102. Next to the elevator but it was quiet. The only issue we had was the next door guest who decided to make their room a pot smoking den. Because the rooms have balconies, the unpleasant smells of adjacent rooms feel like they are in your room. I would stay at this hotel again, for the price, it is a good value in Frejus."

Van der Valk Hotel le Catalogne Saint Aygulf
8.9 (58 reviews)

Van der Valk Hotel le Catalogne Saint Aygulf ★★★★

📍 290 Av. Lucien Bœuf, Frejus

"Stayed here last year and I couldn't praise it enough . This year, the Hotel is still lovely, clean, secure car park, lovely swimming pool, but unfortunately the staff weren't as friendly or as helpful. The pool bar service was terrible, there was no one there half the time it had a sign saying go to the reception to ask for someone to serve. Numerous times we and other hotel guests went to reception and there was no one there either, terrible service and not what a pool bar is supposed to be like. A lady called Audry did her best to help . Yes I would still recommend this hotel for short breaks, unfortunately it's the lack of staff this year that let it down."

Résidence Odalys Domaine des Eucalyptus
7.9 (46 reviews)

Résidence Odalys Domaine des Eucalyptus ★★★

📍 352 RD7 - Les Châteaux de Villepey, Frejus

"The stay was very pleasant. I want to mention that we were welcomed at the front desk very friendly. The location is great due to shopping (Carrefour) and a bakery in walking distance. I felt very safe at the appartment. I definitely will consider to come again. "

Van der Valk Hotel Bloom Hotels in Frejus

Van der Valk Hotel Bloom

"The disappointment began at check-in: Although I had booked a superior room (!), I was uncompromisingly allocated room number 516, one of the worst rooms in the hotel. Dark, north-facing, with a view of the neighboring campsite, and the balcony was barely usable due to mosquitoes. The same applies to room 536, and the only rooms that are really recommended are those facing the pool. The rooms are equipped according to their category, but the room cleaning could be more thorough. The breakfast is good by French standards, but guests really have to carry all the items, including cutlery, napkins, and cups, to the tables that are not prepared. Clearing them away is then very slow and the very distant staff, who would benefit from a bit more friendliness. Although the hotel is very small, there is no "family atmosphere." The hotel is run with a minimal, just about acceptable number of staff. In the evening, there is only one employee on site for reception and bar service until 10 p.m., and there is no night porter on duty. There is only a limited choice of food on offer at lunchtime; it is essentially a bed and breakfast hotel. If you value high-quality food, you will have a hard time in Saint-Aygulf, which is dominated by simple pizza and burger restaurants. The only halfway decent restaurant belongs to the Van der Valk Hotel Saint-Aygulf, which is within walking distance; there you have very friendly service, a nice atmosphere, a sea view (through very dirty windows), relatively cheap prices and mediocre meals, unfortunately often spoiled by greasy sauces. Food of a higher standard can be found in Fréjus, e.g. in La Bastide du Clos des Roses. The beach and harbor are a few minutes' walk from the hotel, and a walk of around 1 km to the town center is unavoidable. Overall, a rental car is essential to explore the much more attractive surroundings, which you can fortunately park for free in the hotel's spacious underground car park. The modern hotel complex, which has not been active for long, scores points with a heated pool, 3 whirlpools on the roof and plenty of loungers in the well-kept gardens with a pleasant guest structure. The check-out was professional and friendly, all the standard phrases were dealt with. Room recommendation: Only with a view of the pool, rooms 516 and 536 are not recommended, the rooms facing the side street could have a certain amount of noise, also from the pizzeria opposite"

"We were delighted to find this super small hotel with private parking. The rooms are cosy, but the addition of a small fridge was very welcome. It is close to the beach but in a quiet street. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely love to return."

Ibis Styles Fréjus Saint-Raphaël ★★★
"We needed to find a hotel for one night in a place not too far from our final destination, not too expensive. Objective achieved. Rather easy to access, it doesn't take long from the motorway exit and very, very little time to find yourself at the port of Frejus where you can go for a walk along the seafront. The night was good and very comfortable, breakfast plentiful. All we needed was a bit of heat and sun. But there's not much to do there"

Van der Valk Hotel le Catalogne Saint Aygulf ★★★★
"Lovely room which they upgraded us to on arrival for free, the staff were very helpful and pleasant, everything was super clean and it had an excellent shower, The pool is very nice and snacks / drinks available, we didn’t eat breakfast there so can’t comment on that, the only slight minus we could say is that it is not in the best of locations although perfectly fine if you don’t want to be in the center of town ( which we didn’t)"
