Ahorn Berghotel Friedrichroda ★★★

"Very well-kept hotel with very friendly service and a good range of wellness options. I also really enjoyed the food...so it was definitely worth it. The furnishings and rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but in a very pleasant way. I really enjoyed my stay here."

Ferienwohnung Christina in Friedrichroda ★★★

Ferien Hotel Rennsteigblick ★★★

"We were given a disabled room with sagging mattresses and pillows that were far too thick! The food was a disaster - tough medallions, sauce that you had to stir, beans that were hard and all the dishes lacked flavour. Too few staff, the food isn't refilled, but thanks to AI, there are already drunk guests for dinner. Although a small sign says that you can only consume food in the restaurant, a few bottles are brought to the room in backpacks, under cardigans. The concept should be worked on... not quantity, but quality... It would be better to be a little more expensive and use higher quality products, especially for the food. There are no real chefs here and there are lots of people who gorge themselves on everything and shamelessly show off their fat bellies. That's the audience!"
