Nice Hotel for the cost. Great location in Frisco & very clean. Free breakfast was also a positive. Older hotel so not as soundproof as new construction. Paul at the front desk was friendly and very accommodating when we asked for a room change.

Older motel but well-maintained and clean. However beds are soft and lumpy and pillows are hard. Wouldn't want to stay more than 1 night.

The property was average.
It was very clean, but staff was not that friendly. We arrived in the evening and left very early in the morning. Booking showed breakfast included, but no breakfast at 6am.

The Snowshoe is the most affordable hotel I've ever stayed at out of any ski area I've stayed. It's even better during off season. It's basic and decent, and the family that runs it are good people.

We chose the Snowshoe for a quick one-night stay on a tight budget, and it was adequate for that. In an area where accommodations cost a lot, it's nice to be able to get something affordable, and as long as it's clean (it was), I'm good. Location is great, right in downtown Frisco. Comfort is the main issue: room smelled strongly of a cleaning agent, and when we cracked the window, the road noise was too loud. Beds were not too comfortable, and thin, flimsy pillows were almost worthless. Breakfast was pretty low quality, with sugary cereal, very cheap bagels, and super-processed pastries in individual plastic wrappers. There were bananas and apples, though, so that helped. But none of this was too big a deal for the 10 hours we spent there. Host/manager at the front desk was friendly and helpful.
