I don't usually give negative reviews, but this B&B really irritated me. Honestly, the B&B's exterior, paired with the Shanghai Island scenery, is quite beautiful. However, the cleanliness, service, and facilities are truly deplorable. Facilities: The room lacks a refrigerator, the bathroom lacks a dry/wet area, the bathroom fixtures are all off-brand, the toilet flushes loudly, and the room has those dream curtains that don't block out any light at all. I couldn't sleep much in the mornings!!! Those are tolerable, but the cleanliness is appalling. Cleanliness: I'd normally be more tolerant of B&B cleanliness, but I felt they even changed the sheets. My husband and son, who have crew cuts, were traveling with me, and I have super short hair, but I found long hair on the bed multiple times (definitely from the previous guest!!!). There was even a whole clump of unswept hair on the floor next to the bed. The edges of the pillowcases were stained. Service: The B&B offers a butler service, but the butler was cold from the start. The boat to the island was canceled the morning of our check-in due to a typhoon, and the butler didn't proactively inform me until I asked. If I'd gone to the pier according to the usual departure time, wouldn't I have been disappointed!!! Furthermore, as a smart check-in B&B, shouldn't guests be provided with basic room codes, door codes, restaurant locations, and breakfast times upon arrival? They were practically one-on-one, with no real service at all. What really irritated me was that for a B&B that cost nearly NT$900 a night, they didn't even have a comb!!! Location: The B&B is located on the edge of the island, a half-hour drive from the pier. Once inside, any outings require a chartered car, which costs NT$120 regardless of the distance. This means that if you want to eat out or go somewhere else, the round trip will cost NT$240, so you'll likely have to eat at the B&B. Besides the last point, which is due to the location, it's difficult to combine beautiful views with convenience, but shouldn't the B&B itself improve on other aspects? After all, you're paying NT$800, NT$900, NT$1,000 a night, not just NT$300 or NT$400. 🙃

I rarely write reviews, usually not if I'm not comfortable staying there. But after spending one night at Amman Island, I couldn't resist. First, objectively speaking, the B&B environment, the rooms, and everything else are impeccable. The setting is excellent, with a view of the ocean from the window. This B&B is the only one at the end of the island, so it's quite remote, with no other shops or restaurants to buy or eat. A taxi to the village takes half an hour, and the round-trip journey is 300. I recommend contacting a driver upon arrival on the island, as the B&B will call a taxi for you for 150, but contacting one yourself is only 120. But for a B&B at this price, the service is truly unbearable. Is this considered high-end? There was no water in the room upon arrival, and I asked for a comb all day but it never arrived. I couldn't find any staff at night, and the housekeeper's WeChat account closed at 10 PM, so there was no one on duty??? The service quality is truly unworthy of the price. Even if I booked a B&B for 300 yuan, they would contact me right after booking, send me the address and travel guide, and ask me in advance for my arrival time if they wanted to pick me up. The service here is terrible. If you don't contact them or ask, no one will even contact you after you check in. Please, your B&B is in the most remote location. The journey from the boat to the bus is complicated, and the pier is a half-hour drive up a mountain road. Don't you give me any advance notice? No one greeted me at the B&B. I waited for ages and couldn't find the check-in desk. I hope the B&B owner will consider improving the quality of their housekeeping service after reading this review. With such a prime location and so much money invested in development, and no one to manage it, it's like putting gold trim on a pot of ****. This B&B is beautiful, but I wouldn't stay there again. It was so frustrating.

The service was good, and the environment was nice. But the pool was empty. I don't know why it never filled up. Next time you book, be sure to ask for details. Please make sure the pool is fully charged and swimming is allowed. The lack of a pool was disappointing with children. It's secluded and inconvenient to visit other attractions. The only hotel in the Tianhu area that provided a car was Tianhu. When we checked out, we went directly to the pier. Returning to the hotel would have been a hassle, requiring an additional car hire.

I've never stayed in a hotel with such a bad experience. The food was terrible, there were centipedes in the room, and the service was terrible. If you can't keep up, you can inform the guests in advance instead of torturing them in nearly 40-degree weather. There is nothing worth seeing except the sea view. Just go and see it, there is no need to stay.

The transportation is inconvenient and the public facilities are not well maintained. The overall experience is very average. The breakfast at the resort hotel is so simple that I thought I was practicing in a temple.
