Basic hotel, with a basic view and basic breakfast. Doesn't deserve 4 stars.

Half-board not bad, there is free parking which is very good, the spa costs €10, for the beach you have to walk 5 minutes

I will start with the positive Great location, lovely and clean , fantastic staff, food is good always something to eat even for the fussiest eaters. The beach is out of this world. Negative The walls in the rooms are paper thin you can hear everything your neighbors are doing! The pool side decking is broken in serval area and is a hazard. A lady fell and broken her arm when we were there. The kids are not allowed balls, floats or water pistol in the swimming pool The day not much entertainment for the kids and when there is it's more for the local children. Which is fine but wat about the kids from the UK! Night entertainment again is more for Spanish and it is very out dated and the same every week it does not changed from week to week. This hotel is really for Spanish family's and I would say when we were there it was about 2% people from UK and the rest of the guests were Spanish. Which is totally fine it is in Spain after all but this should be advised before booking! The area of fuengirola is lovely and I will definitely be returning but this hotel just was not for us

Absolutely fantastic hotel, not one complaint. Went as a group of girls and all felt welcomed and safe, fabulous time, staff friendly place so clean, catering lovely and accommodated to one of our members with severe allergies to fish, eggs, nuts amongst other things and no EpiPens needed. 2mins to the beach and shops. Highly recommend

Just returned from this Hotel,.. the positives. Good value for money, decent food, in a great position! Beach just a short walk across the main road. Good facilities. The Negatives... Wood Veneering around the pool... Treacherous!! Sinking and lifting all over the place need's removing pronto! Also I think the flooring in my room on the 5th floor also creating a big problem.. as in ANTS!! What a Shame, for this reason alone won't return to this Hotel! My room infested with the biting tiny things, reported to reception first day,.. ok they came immediately and sprayed some foul smelling stuff that caught in the back of my throat, it did the job for a while, and before I left they Sprayed again... But I realised when packing to leave the things were in the wardrobe too, in my backpack even!! Sorry but not acceptable to me! and I know this is not a one off as I've seen the problem mentioned in other reviews... I don't think Laminate flooring is meant for hot countries as the Ants obviously infested underneath! Spoilt a Lovely Holiday and need's addressing whatever the cost!!

We enjoyed the hotel. I must say that the staff and team were excellent. They have helped sort out our little queries . Cleanliness is perfect . One never get this sort of service in the UK. Half board is a good choice. Food excellent. Value for money first class. Nice entertainment evenings. And even a sangria making session! It is so much nicer to come to Spain than France. My first trip to Spain was in 1960. Much has changed. But always the people are patient and understanding of Brits.who are useless at languages. What excited me was the Sobrasada pate at Breakfast. A real Andulasian staple. It is pork fat and pimento. Sometimes the crackling is included ,crunched up. The hotel pool is fun but one has to wear a cap. 1.50 Eu. We had a fearful wait at Malaga airport for passport control . Hopefully this will improve once the automatic entry system is in place I understand that one can pre register for this but not sure. That's all for now chums God bless xxxxx

Nice, clean hotel. The complex has plenty. Nice pool, garden area, games room, tennis, entertainment. The food was better in the evening than the daytime meals, the choice was alot better in an evening. Down side kept getting little ant type creatures in room. Yeah i know balcony doors are open alot but it was annoying. The spa and indoor pool is good. The location is good as just a very short walk to beach and a few bars and restaurants. But if you want the main part of Fuengirola it is quite a distance. This hotel is actually in Torreblanca not Fuengirola as stated. The garden area is a nice relaxing area. Plenty of sunbeds. I would return to this hotel.

We were very happy with our stay here .Some reviews had put me off so I was quite nervous but all went well . Check in was very smooth . We were on the 5th floor and the room and bathroom were spotless .We had a small balcony which was nice but the sun only shone on that side in the morning .That was not a problem as we were out most of the time either walking or in the spa. The outdoor pool was Baltic so we were delighted to have the spa . Hats must be worn here . I was disappointed that the jacuzzi was not free but that's only a minor issue . Cleaners were working night and day and rooms and corridors were always neat and tidy . There is laminate flooring so that might explain the noise in the corridors , they are also very wide .My husband said that it reminded him of a hospital . Yes I could hear talking from the room next door but never late at night and it did not keep me awake which is good as I have super hearing. We always slept well after our days in the sunshine. Regarding meals , there was always plenty of food and each section was replenished a few times . There was a good choice every night , at least 3 meat dishes ,fish , pasta , salads , vegetables , cold meats and rice . We never went hungry . There was bread available with every meal and there was water which was free . We usually have to pay for this . It was possible to fill water bottles as well and I thought that was a nice gesture . The staff in the dining room were always helpful and cheerful ,this means a lot . During our stay , there was a large group from Sweden with their tour guides . They queued in a very orderly fashion yet there were no delays . As it was out of season , it's fair to say that the clientele was made up of senior citizens , although I did see one or two young children . Location is perfect as it's just down a hill from Torre Blanca Station and the beach is 3 minutes away . We walked into Los Boliches and Fuengirola most days, plenty cafes and restaurants along the way . Would I go back ? Definitely .

The staff are amazing, professional and friendly. The hotel cleanliness is exemplary. Great standard and variety of food at the buffet restaurant. The Flamingo was our stand out proformance of the evening entertainment. Great location to access local attractions. Very close to the beach and local bars and restaurants. Easy process to book day trips through the hotel we did a day trip to Gibraltar which was a seamless process from booking to being picked up and dropped off at the end of the day. We will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

We arrived on the 7 th of September, we are still here. When we arrived after a long day of travel, it was about 10.30 pm. We knew dinner had ended. We were looking forward to a cold plate, as is typical from all hotels we have stayed in the past. So the receptionist informed us that dinner is finished and we weren’t offered even a sandwich. We thought this was bad for a 4 star hotel. We were hungry , however there were no restaurants around the area. Plus we didn’t know the area as it was our first time here. Anyway, I had a kettle with me, so we got two cups at the bar, and we had a cup of instant soup. The bedroom is clean , however badly in need of a renovation. Breakfast was good, lots to choose from. Dinner was also good with a good variety of food to choose from. Only thing is , the table setting for breakfast and dinner are the same, knife and fork, plus a teaspoon. Don’t look for dessert spoons as they don’t have any. The pool area is nice, also a nice garden area, plenty of sun beds, no shortage there. It’s a 3 minute walk to the beach, short cut through the garden. Also 3 minutes walk to Torreblanca train station. Staff are also very nice. We are still in the hotel. Room 408. Going home on Wednesday the 17. Travel mad 777
