Most accommodations around Lake Kawaguchiko are guesthouses, so if you want something more comfortable and convenient, a hotel is a better choice. While nearly 500 a night isn't cheap, it's acceptable given the location and included breakfast. You can catch the hotel shuttle from the parking lot to the right of Kawaguchiko Station. Check-in via the self-service machine was seamless, and you can also store your luggage in the lobby. The room wasn't huge but it was very clean. It's about 1.3 km from Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge, and you can enjoy panoramic views of Mount Fuji if you walk there – it's absolutely stunning!

This hotel is incredibly popular, and unfortunately, I couldn't get a non-smoking room. However, the room was clean and quiet, and all the amenities were well-stocked. It's super convenient: the bus stop is just a three-minute walk away, supermarkets/convenience stores are an eight-minute walk, and there are plenty of small eateries nearby. This is a very good hotel to stay at in Kawaguchiko area. I am exceedingly impressed by the services considering the amount you pay. I requested for a room with a Fuji view, and I got one. The free breakfast was fulfilling, and the free shuttles between stations and spots is what I was very happy about. I had productive 4 days because of it. From Mishima station, I was picked up and the bus pushed through even though it was just me. The drivers were very nice and helpful too. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. You get a normal Japan size room. Checkin and checkout was also very smooth. If you arrive early or leave later, there is a free luggage storage.I definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely book again.

This is great, my second time staying here! A lot of Chinese guests stay at this hotel, and there are Chinese signs everywhere. For visiting Mount Fuji, Toyoko Inn is the most convenient option, and you can even take their shuttle bus – it's the best! This time, I was lucky enough to get a room with a view of Mount Fuji! Wow, I'm so fortunate! I will forever be a loyal Toyoko Inn guest!! You can also take the shuttle bus to Gotemba (reservation required) and Oshino Hakkai! Toyoko Inn is just wonderful! 🥹
