Pros: 1. The Mt. Fuji view was perfect. The cleanliness and condition of the facilities were absolutely fine, even exceeding expectations. It's much better than some older, traditional hotels with Mt. Fuji views, offering excellent value for money at this price point. 2. The hotel service was also great. From the front desk to the restaurant staff and the housekeepers, everyone offered service with a smile. Perhaps because it was the off-season, another couple checking in at the same time received a room upgrade. The hotel also provides a convenient shuttle service from Kawaguchiko Station. 3. The restaurant staff were very professional. While the sukiyaki for dinner wasn't a huge surprise, it was decent and had no flaws. 4. It's only a few hundred meters from Oishi Park, which is easily walkable. Compared to other attractions, it's a bit more niche, but the scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Cons: 1. It's quite a distance from Kawaguchiko Station, making it a bit far from other attractions. 2. You can't see Mt. Fuji at night due to the lack of light (which isn't the hotel's fault). 3. All rooms are non-smoking, and the small open space in front of the hotel with Mt. Fuji views is also a non-smoking area. There's only a small designated smoking area at the back entrance of the hotel. As a smoker, it's a bit inconvenient, but completely understandable and acceptable. 4. Also, there are no convenience stores or supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel. The Oishi Store listed on Apple Maps is actually closed. 5. To reach the hotel, you have to walk up a relatively long slope. It can be a bit tiring if you're on foot, but once you're down the slope, you're right by Lake Kawaguchiko, and there are very few people. Overall, the hotel is excellent. If you're staying with a partner, you can take a walk along Lake Kawaguchiko below the hotel. With Mt. Fuji right in front of you, the atmosphere is romantic and there are few people around. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved this hotel with incredible Mount Fuji views! The location is superb, and it's super easy to get around. I'd highly recommend it to friends. The dinners here are also amazing, with a different hot pot experience every day – really enjoyable.

I am utterly appalled by the abysmal service and conditions we encountered during our one-night stay at this so-called "luxury" hotel. Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share the shocking details: Broken Shower: The shower was broken, splashing water everywhere and rendering it almost unusable. This is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that claims to offer premium service! Dirty Teapot: We found a filthy teapot with leftover tea from a previous guest. How can a hotel that prides itself on luxury allow such a blatant disregard for cleanliness? Terrible Drainage: The drainage in the bathroom was horrendous. Water flowed from the bathroom into the toilet area, leaving the floor wet and dirty. It felt like we were in a maintenance nightmare! Insects Everywhere: We were greeted by a plethora of insects in our room before we even opened any windows or doors. This is simply unacceptable and speaks volumes about the hotel's lack of hygiene standards. Shockingly Poor Service: The service we received was nothing short of a disaster. The manager was passive, slow, and utterly unhelpful. We had to chase them just to confirm basic details about our meal plan and amenities. Irresponsible Management: To top it all off, we reported these issues to the manager, who promised to get back to us by 9 PM. Not only did he fail to show up, but he also left work after we chased him down at 10 PM, without handing over our issues to any staff or colleagues. The entire hotel was a chaotic mess, with only one junior staff member left to manage everything. The manager took a leave that day, claiming he was on vacation, and refused to answer calls from his own staff. When we requested to escalate our concerns to someone higher up, he flat-out refused to provide any contact information, stating it would "bother him." This level of irresponsibility is beyond comprehension! For the price we paid, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and service is absolutely unacceptable. We were forced to leave the hotel as our check-out time approached, feeling frustrated and completely disrespected. I urge anyone considering this hotel to think twice – it was a complete disaster from start to finish!

I booked this room specifically for the Mt. Fuji view. It was much cheaper than other hotels in the area, but really, all you're getting is the view and a place to sleep. I hadn't booked a room with an outdoor hot spring, but there wasn't even a bathtub in the bathroom, nor a large public bath. For this price, I really think there should be a tub. For meals, sukiyaki was the only option, so thankfully I'd bought some ready-to-eat meals at 7-Eleven. The view was good though.

Since hotel does not have public onsen, it is good that to choose a room that come with private bath, so you can enjoy your onsen with amazing Fuji view direct from the room

It has a superb view of Mt. Fuji from the room. The only cons is its location on top of a hill. You must have own car for easy access unless you willing to walk up a steep slope.

The hotel was very clean and quiet, and the surrounding scenery was pleasant. We could even see Mount Fuji directly from the hotel entrance. However, because it's in the mountains, there were a lot of flying insects, so we couldn't open the balcony door, which was a bit of a shame as we missed out on enjoying the outdoor hot tub on the terrace. Other than that, everything else was excellent.
