TKP SUNLIFE HOTEL

This hotel is right outside Hakata Station, super close and easy to spot, which is incredibly convenient! If you need a room, it's a good idea to book early; I felt that 600-700 yen was already a good price. Before booking, I was a bit worried about the smoke smell in the smoking room I chose, but there wasn't any; it was perfectly normal! It was just right for one person. All the essentials were provided, and they even gave a complimentary bottle of water. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but everything else was great! The main thing is how convenient and close it is to everything. Plus, it seems there's a direct bus to the airport, as there were a lot of people queuing early in the morning, and taking the subway is super fast too!

The location is excellent, right across from the bus terminal and JR station. The airport shuttle drops you off, and you just cross the street to reach the hotel. There's a drugstore nearby, though it's a bit pricey; the one in the JR station's underground mall is cheaper. You'll also find convenience stores like Lawson and 7-Eleven, a large department store, and various eateries. Location-wise, it's superb. The room is quite small, which is common in Japan. You can open a 24-inch suitcase in the aisle, but that's about it. The bathroom, in particular, is tiny; ladies will have to do their skincare routines in the main room. The hotel offers free luggage storage, and there's complimentary coffee in the lobby. The staff are quite friendly. Nowadays, many Japanese hotels have self-service check-in and check-out machines, but there are always staff members nearby to assist. Overall, the value for money is pretty good.

Fantastic location! Hakata Station is right across the street, and the subway's East Exit 6 is directly outside.
