Jam Hostel Hakata Station Front Reviews

Close to the station, easy to reach and move from. Useful luggages deposit.

The hostel's location is a little bit out of the way, but otherwise it is close to convinience stores and Hakata station. The place itself is clean, though the bathroom and toilet is a share space. You will have to be quiet in the hostel to not disturb other guests and wait for your queue if there are a lot of guests. You also might have a little bit of trouble with check-in time since the hostel has its own policy. Otherwise, the staff explained everything clearly about where each accomodation is and the hostel rules.

The receptionist sister is a really kind person. When i check in i don't have cash and my credit card had some problems so can't withdraw any money. This kind sister tell me to buy a tobacco in convenient store for the charge of check in tax. Which saved me or I'm gonna sleep on the street. And this hostel is every clean. Everyone is quiet and friendly. Makes me wanna come again!the space is a little tiny but all in good management and regulated.

Very clean, convenient to Hakata Station. I enjoy my stay here. They have amenities to cook my vegan food also.

I chose this place based on the price and reviews. I didn’t realize I would end up at a small room with bunk beds and 3 heavy snorers. The staff is strict and friendly, which must be in a right and busy space like this. It offers what I looked for, a bed to sleep, a toilet, shower and toilet, and these is a room where you can eat and cool of you like. The beds are okay but  Spartan and value for money wise this place is not scoring well compare to other places in Japan for the same price range. Somehow Fukuoka is more expensive than other places I’ve been. Don’t know why. When I ever return to Fuluoka I would consider to pay a bit more extra and have a room for myself to be honest.

Great location! When I checked in at night, an auntie at the front desk helped me, and she was very friendly and chatty. The only issue was that the room door couldn't be locked, which felt a bit unsafe (as it was on the ground floor). Other than that, all the facilities were complete. Highly recommend!

The room is quite small, but overall it's enough for sleeping. It's not crowded, so it's a relatively quiet space. However, there are quite a few rules compared to other hostels. The staff service was good. The biggest advantage is its proximity to Hakata Station, and convenience stores and the subway are also easily accessible.

Very close to Hakata Station and ease of checking in but not 24 hours staffed counter. Hostel has no lift n can be a problem with your luggage if u are at second floor. It also does not have any left baggage facilities.

It had all we needed! Perfect location! Sad you have to pay for a towel... For the rest great roo.

Very convenient and clean.

The place is good, well located and clean. The owner and employees are friendly. However the common washroom is a bit small (only 1 shower and toilet for men)

The hotel is super nice. Very near at the hakata station . The room is clean and with a nice dining space to eat. The receptionist is very accomodating. They provide water heater, oven and refrigerator. Over all i love to stay again here when i go back to fukuoka
