"I'm back after three years... and what a surprise! Since my last visit, the facility has improved dramatically in many ways. Starting with the dining room, where the quality is immediately noticeable: the service is more attentive, the staff more helpful, and the food is decidedly better. Special praise goes to Dorde and Duliana, two truly professional, polite, and kind managers. They listened to us and anticipated our needs, especially those of my partner, who is lactose intolerant. They made us feel truly welcome, without ever making us feel burdened. And the other dining room staff were always friendly and helpful, so kudos to the entire team! The rooms were clean and well-maintained, as were the pool area and bar service, where we enjoyed relaxing. Even at reception, we found the staff always smiling and helpful, ready to answer any questions and accommodate any needs. We had requested a centrally located room, and they accommodated us with ease. Overall, a much better stay than our previous visit. It's nice to see a facility investing in improvement and truly putting the customer first. We'll be happy to return!"

Hotel Delfin Plava Laguna ★★

"Sure, it's a 2-star hotel, so you can't expect a lot of things (e.g., air conditioning). First, the positives: Great location right by the sea. A good-sized balcony. The room size is generally okay. (Access to the shower is very limited, the toilet is right in front of it.) Nice pool area, plenty of parking. Nice live music by the pool in the evenings. But I do have some complaints. First, the room door is stuck, so you have to push against it to open or close it. Then there's water damage in the bathroom, where water is dripping from the vent. It's not very pleasant when you're sitting on the toilet. The rooms weren't cleaned very well; some stains could be removed with just a wipe of the finger. Once when I entered the room, the door wasn't locked(!). The rooms are also easily accessible via the balcony from the neighboring room; just climb over and go in, because the housekeeping staff always leaves the balcony door open anyway. The checkout process is very chaotic, there's no clear procedure. Sometimes the staff just stand there doing nothing, even though 50 people are trying to check out. The staff are very stressed and unfriendly; there's no "thank you for your stay." Nothing at all, just return the keys and goodbye. Additionally, the website stated (after a tedious search) that a parking fee of €1.20 per day is charged. It ended up being €1.50. Furthermore, personal documents such as passports or ID cards are not kept under lock and key, but behind the counter where the room keys hang. Visible and accessible to everyone. Not very secure (!). Since the hotel accommodates a lot of children and groups of children, it's correspondingly loud, starting at 7:00 a.m. So if you want a quiet hotel, stay away from the Delfin! For that price, you can get great apartments in Croatia, even 4-star ones. Personally, I won't book there again."

"I would like to compliment the helpfulness, kindness, and excellent service at the beach bar, Sakova, if I remember correctly. We were served there every day by the lovely Marija, who always greeted us with a smile and treated us to excellent coffee and iced tea. We will definitely be coming back next year!"
