We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Wasserfall and can highly recommend it, especially if you enjoy hiking and also appreciate comfort and friendly service. The accommodation was very clean, with daily housekeeping and towels changed as needed. The hosts and staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel truly welcome. Breakfast was varied and regularly replenished, with something for everyone. We especially appreciated the option to prepare a small packed lunch for the day – a thoughtful detail for those heading out on all-day hikes. Dinner was served buffet-style, tasty and plentiful, with a nice selection including a salad bar. The availability of non-alcoholic juices was also a great bonus. Another big advantage is the Sommercard, included in the stay, which offers access to many attractions and cable cars for free – a real asset for exploring the area without extra costs. We’d love to come back and warmly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an active holiday with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 out of 5) I had a fantastic stay at the Wasserfall Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and helpful — nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is set in a beautiful location, surrounded by stunning mountains and just a short walk from the nearby waterfall, which makes for a perfect photo opportunity. The room was clean, cosy, and well-maintained, with a balcony offering incredible views. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere — ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the area. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with a good variety of choices. There’s also a small bar/restaurant on-site that served delicious local dishes in the evening, perfect after a day outdoors. I would definitely recommend Wasserfall Hotel to anyone visiting the region, whether you’re there for hiking, skiing, or just relaxing. I’ll absolutely return on my next trip!

Great food and familiar place. Location is situated in beautiful and peaceful area. Room was clean and comfortable. We stayed there during late winter holidays, accommodation was in very good price. Building was good equipped with everything you need for winter stay. Highly recommend!

Rooms are comfortable, clean and quite spacious. Bateriom really nice and very clean. We had a view on a mountain do it was amazing. The food was tasty. We are vegetaians so we had to tell earlier to get something different for dinner than others.

Good deal with summer card and one free entry to grossglockner hochalpinestrasse. Bathroom was a bit small but clean. Friendly service and good breakfast

Die Unterkunft kann als sehr basic bezeichnet werden. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein und zu zweit steht man sich bald einmal gegenseitig im Weg. Das Bad und das Zimmer waren sauber. Das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück entspricht dem Standard entsprechend üblichen Angebot ohne Überraschungen. Als Ausgangspunkt für eine Fahrt über die Grossglockner Hochalpen Strasse scheint es ideal. Chef und Chefin (Rezeption bzw Service) sehr freundlich, Zimmermädchen in der Früh etwas übereifrig, man rechnet anscheinend im Winter eher mit frühaufstehenden Skifahrern, als mit Langschläfern.

Super Ausgabgsortfür Wanderungen. Gerne wieder. Dazu gibt es die kostenlose Somercard. Zimmer waren ausreichen gross. Bei HP gibt es Buffet. Ich fand es sehr lecker. Direkt am Hotel gibt ea ausreichen Parkplätze und ein Schwimmbad auf der anderen Straßenseite

Das Hotelpersonal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch mit der glutenfreien Ernährung meines Sohnes gab es keine Probleme. Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt und wir sind froh, dass wir das Wasserfall Hotel gewählt haben.
