Outstanding and attentive concierge service. Xiao Huang went above and beyond to help with reservations for activities, booking ski passes and dinner reservations making our stay hassle free.

Our trip to Changbai Mountain included a stay at the Westin, and the front desk upgraded us to an Executive Suite – the room was incredibly spacious! The breakfast spread was also excellent. Concierge Xiao Chen even added us on WeChat proactively and was super responsive and enthusiastic whenever we had questions. The Wanda resort complex has fantastic facilities and is very convenient. Highly recommend staying here!

The room itself met standard five-star expectations, and both the housekeeping staff and butler were quite friendly. The hotel has a ski trail that leads directly to the town center, which is very convenient, taking about ten minutes. You actually don't need to wait for the shuttle; walking is quick. I always go to town to rent equipment to avoid carrying it around. However, the soundproofing in the hotel is pretty bad. One night, around 11:30 PM, there was a continuous thumping sound from the floor above for about an hour.

Everything was great. We were two adults and two children, and our butler, Xiao Du, was very helpful.

They upgraded my room, which was great! Both breakfast and the executive lounge consistently delivered delicious food. Being able to ski in and ski out is super convenient.

As an old five-star hotel, apart from the manager at the lobby entrance who had a good attitude, the rest of the staff were really disappointing. The person who checked us in immediately changed their expression when they saw we were only staying one night. They didn't bother to tell us anything about breakfast or how to arrange skiing. The person handling the ski passes seemed to be in a bad mood, perhaps on their period, and was very unfriendly. In comparison, the breakfast service was the best. We understand that your hotel has been open for a long time and some facilities are a bit old, so we won't quibble about that. However, the balcony door and window don't close properly, and with temperatures at -30 degrees Celsius, the wind seeped through the cracks all night, making it chilly. The room temperature barely reached 18 degrees Celsius, which, thankfully, was still somewhat manageable for us southerners who are used to damp and cold weather 🤭. For an international five-star hotel costing almost 3000 a night, this is quite embarrassing.

Absolutely fantastic and super convenient! The ski slopes are right outside, so you can literally ski out of the hotel. Plus, you don't have to share an entrance with anyone else, which is a huge bonus! Excellent value for money!

The most delightful surprise during this stay was the concierge service! Traveling with a child had given me some reservations, but to my pleasant surprise, from the moment we stepped into the hotel, Chen from the concierge team provided full support. He proactively helped with our luggage and even went out of his way to recommend local attractions. Their attention to detail and care made the entire trip feel incredibly warm and welcoming. They truly are the 'heartwarming face' of the hotel!

The service at The Westin was truly exceptional, especially the butler service. The two girls at the restaurant were particularly warm and attentive. They were so great with my kids, catering to all their needs. I'm so grateful for their dedication to the children! We will definitely be back!

The suite is spacious and very comfortable. Butler Chen Xiao-chen from Room 3 was also great! 👍 There's a snow house right downstairs, so you can go skiing directly 🎿 – super convenient! I'll definitely come again!! It's perfect for skiing.

We had a very good stay at the Westin Changbaishan Resort, which is part of the Wanda Ski Resort complex. We were warmly received by butler/assistant No.3 小陈, who ensured our stay was a fulfilling and engaging one. He assisted us with transport bookings and always reached out thru Wechat to see if we needed any help. Although the hardware and fixtures at the Westin are aging, the service staff from the hotel are excellent. We had a good experience at the Club lounge, with happy hour served from 5pm to 7pm and was always served with a smile by the lounge manager and assistants. Housekeeping was also great, and our room also came with a humidifier, which housekeeper always refilled daily. We also enjoyed the complimentary hot spring access (once per stay) but didnt try the water park as the weather was pretty cold. Highly recommend a stay at the Westin if you're coming to Ski/Snowboard at Changbaishan West Slope.

Absolutely amazing, words can't even describe it! Upstairs, you've got a bathtub and a sofa, and downstairs, a cozy cabin with stunning snow views. Inside, it's warm and sunny, and the breakfast was fantastic – lots of variety and delicious. The Wanda ski resort was uncrowded and spacious too! I loved it so much!
