To start, the room lacked basic amenities such as a water kettle, air conditioner, and refrigerator, which made our stay uncomfortable, especially given the warm weather. The situation was further exacerbated during breakfast when a waitress rudely pointed at my wife and yelled at her because our 4-year-old daughter accidentally dropped an egg on the floor. We were still at the table, and our intention was to clean it up after we finished eating. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy from the staff was shocking and completely ruined our meal. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel. The absence of essential amenities and the poor treatment from the staff left a lasting negative impression on our family vacation. Save your money and look elsewhere."

"You can't fault the location of this hotel and from the outside it looks decent. But inside it's a different story with tired / out dated decor and renovation needed in a few areas. We booked a 'panoramic suite' for three nights which was meant to be a highlight of our holiday but it was disappointing and had no air conditioning so was unbearably hot. It definitely wasn't worth nearly 2000 euros for 3 nights even in peak season. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful though. I rarely take time to leave a review but over a month later I still feel ripped off by this hotel."

"The view from the hotel is great! I originally thought it was just a B&B, but I didn’t expect it to be a very large hotel on the mountainside! The view is unparalleled! In the morning, you can take pictures of the Alps and lakes on the hotel lawn. Breakfast is very rich! beyond expectation!"

"This is a restaurant and hotel all in one. The restaurant on the first floor, and the guest rooms upstairs. There are free parking spaces, but there are not many parking spaces (but I don’t know if the parking spaces across the road belong to it), and it should be first come, first served. There is a pretty good supermarket about 100 meters away. It is very close to the Neuschwanstein Castle attraction, only three or four kilometers away. The location is still very good. There is no elevator, the room is relatively clean, and the bathroom is spacious enough. If I remember correctly, there should be no air conditioning, but the weather was already cold when we came here, and there was no need for air conditioning."

"Firstly, the positive: the location of the house and the view from the individual apartments is very good and makes a lot of pleasure. Unfortunately, our experience was not in line with the expectations. The apartment shown on the website does not exist so (more) – the pictures were obsolete and provided a wrong impression. In addition, the floor heating in the bedroom did not work properly and did not heat the floor. Despite our notification to the staff, nothing has been done. A absolute no-go was that on our first morning, suddenly two foreign people had entered our accommodation without announcement, and during our absence, to do unannounced works on a garden bar. This is inadmissible without safe to store value items and without prior agreement. The house council (glasses, etc.) is overall quite assembled and could be far better from quality. Also the immediate request (and direct reminder) to deposit the tax directly at arrival, although we stayed for six days, seemed little guest friendly. In addition, the access to the parking places was only superficial after a snowy night and was therefore partly very required and shallow. At a personal level, it is noted that Mr Gohlke is, unfortunately, someone who puts untrue and lieved claims in the world, lets this be included in reviews, does not correct and does not respond to complaints and does not respond to any claims. reported. "The hotel is located outside the old town, but it's within walking distance of the old town and the bus stop. The hotel even provided free bus tickets. The hotel environment is very nice, feeling like it's surrounded by a small forest, very quiet. The only downside was that there was still trash left by previous guests in the bathroom trash can, presumably the housekeeping staff forgot to clean it."

"This hotel is in a beautiful little resort a few kilometres from Fussen and the castles. The hotel overlooks a beautiful lake and although busy in the daytime, quiet at night. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and had one of the biggest baths I've ever used. We paid extra for a lake view. We could see the lake but only from a side view. We ate in the Italian restaurant downstairs. Which did very nice food. The restaurant staff are also the ones who check you in. They are friendly and helpful. My only criticism was we were not told we were going to be charged to park in the garage. It was difficult to park it has about 8 tiny spaces, we didn't bump our car, but I expect many do trying to park here. If we had been told we were paying to use this garage, even though it was only a few euros, we would of chosen to park elsewhere in town. I would recommend this lovely hotel though, good value, in a beautiful location next to the lake. "
