Holiday Inn FUYANG by IHG

Facilities: Excellent and new. Breakfast: Abundant and unique. Service: Very attentive, always willing to help.

Participated in the Fuyang Marathon and booked three consecutive nights at the hotel. Upon arrival, I found it was only 750 meters from the marathon starting point, which was incredibly convenient. On race day, the hotel breakfast was thoughtfully moved up to 5:30 AM. They even gave me an energy drink when I checked in. The room design was simple, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The breakfast was plentiful, and I got to try local specialties like Fentang chicken soup. The hotel is also very close to the Fuyang Museum and Library, and Shui Street isn't far either – just a short walk. The only downside was a strange noise in the room at night, seemingly coming from the shower, like dripping water or from the pipes. Thankfully, I'm a good sleeper, so it didn't bother me too much.

The service was excellent! The room was clean and tidy, the carpet was spotless, and there was plenty of hot water. Adding a rain shower head would be even better for taller guests. The breakfast was incredibly rich, with cold cuts, fruits, hot dishes, baked goods, local snacks, a good variety of vegetables, milk, soy milk, porridge, juices, and carbonated drinks, catering to different preferences. The whole wheat nut and raisin bread was particularly delicious! The hotel also thoughtfully provided two bottles of Dongpeng special drink to guests participating in the Fuyang Half Marathon. The hotel is very close to the Fuyang Marathon starting point, and nearby attractions include the Fuyang Museum and Shuangqing Bay Park, with the Fuyang Museum being especially worth a visit. The hotel's location offers convenient transportation, and self-parking is also very easy.
