The hotel probably anticipated their filth, so they provide disposable towels and bath towels for a fee—the first time I've seen such a service in any hotel I've visited. There was no bottled water, and since it was already past 10 PM when I arrived, I had to boil some "toilet water" just to take some pills; the water had a faint oily taste. I'd forgotten my charging equipment, and finding that the hotel provided some was a pleasant surprise, almost easing my nausea from the filth, until I discovered that the charging cable was also chargeable! 6 yuan for 4 hours, plus a 29 yuan deposit. Forgive my ignorance, but this is truly the first time I've encountered a hotel charging for a cable. Getting ready for bed, I was thankful I'd brought sheets and pillowcases; otherwise, I absolutely couldn't have tolerated the yellowed pillowcase and the pilling sheets. The next morning, I went to the front desk to get my deposit back. The clerk gave me a large wad of change, and I said, "You received the deposit via WeChat; please return it to the original payment method." The waiter looked timid and said, "We don't offer that service." Speechless, I couldn't find a place to put my money, so I had no choice but to hold up the wad of change you gave me and go to the restaurant to finish my breakfast. Fuyu is my birthplace, and I have a deep love for this place. All the beauty of this journey to find my family was almost ruined by you. I advise Shengxiang to change its philosophy, update its facilities, and improve its service; otherwise, it will definitely go out of business!"
